When I got home the next night, I showered and went to find Vickie. There was a message in my mailbox.

"My darling Robert.

I have never been more in love, than I am with you. I did not even know that love like this existed. And certainly, based on past experiences, I never expected to find it in my life.

And assuredly, not on Wattpad.

But I did. I found you and I need you to believe that I am more in love with you than I could even imagine in my wildest dreams.

But I have not been 100% honest with you.

I have to tell you something. It is not a bad something, but certainly something that could affect US. If you decide to run, I will not blame you.

I will never stop loving you, but I will understand.

When I was 18, I was in a car accident. The car rolled several times and somehow, my leg got caught between the door and the seat.

My lower leg was smashed beyond repair and they had to amputate my right leg, just below the knee.

I wear an artificial lower leg.

I can do most things like others, but i do have my limitations.

You always wondered why I didn't have a man in my life, well this is a big part of it.

Most men walk away when they see the artificial leg.

And I dont blame you if you do as well.

I know you look at me as this perfect woman, but I am not.

I love you Robert and I want nothing more than to have you in my life. I want to be with you and I want to marry you and I want a life with you.

I will understand if I do not hear from you ever again.

Thank you so much for the love you have given me.....

I will never forget you.

I will be home all night, but not on the computer.

I dont expect to hear from you, but I am here, if you still want to talk to me.

I jumped when my phone rang.

It was Robert.

All he said was ...

"Turn on Skype"

I did.

As soon as he saw me, he asked me to stand up.

I did.

He asked if he could see the leg.

I pulled down my sweats and stood there.

He just stared.

I told her to pull up her sweats and sit down.

His expression never changed.

He told me to check my email.

I did.

There was an email, with an attachment that showed a picture of an engagement ring in a red box.

I went back to Skype with tears in my eyes.

He had the box in his hand.

He simply said...

"Nothing has changed"

At that moment I was more in love with Vickie than I had ever been.

All I saw was the beautiful young woman I had fallen in love with.

Everything changed at that moment and it has been amazing ever since...

We are in love and we will be together.

Nothing will stop us now, only time.

I will wait for Robert.

He is my future.

She is my baby and I love her more than life itself.
