Chapter 1

Gemma's POV

Dec 1993:

Putting the pizza in the car I hear a noise in the alley; I took my gun into my hand and walked towards the noise. I peeked around the corner and saw a girl no older than 14. I walked into the pizza parlor and used the phone. "Hey baby I need you to come down here we got something" I said to my husband Clay and hung up the phone, I walked outside and over to the girl. I knelt down and put my hand on her and she flinched "It's okay baby I'm here to help you." She sat up and looked at me with her big blue eyes and tear stained face mixed with blood, she had a bused lip a black eye as well "What happened?"

"I was beaten because my father owes a guy some money, I left the house because I want nothing to do with him...they took my bag and took off."

"How long have you been staying her?"

"The past week"

I could hear my husband's bike along with my son's and his best friend. They parked and walked over to me. "What's going on you okay?"

"Yes but she isn't" I said pointed to the girl. Jax and Opie ran over to the girl and knelt down next to her. "Lets take her"

"Gem-"

"No we are taking her in"

Charlie's POV

"Hey darlin you okay"

"In a little pain" I said to the blond

"Let's get you on your feet" the other one said, each boy took one arm and helped me up and walked me to the car. I sat in the car and looked at the women next to me. "Where are we going?" I asked

"Home" she said "I'm Gemma by the way"

"Charlotte, Charlie for short, it's nice to meet you, and...thank you" I said

We drove to a nice house and got out of the car, the tall boy helped me out of the car. "I'm Opie"

"Charlie" I said we walked into the house. Gemma showed me to the bathroom to clean myself up. I took my shirt off and looked into the mirror, my whole stomach was purple. The door opened "Here are some tow-" The blond boy cut himself off "Holly shit, come on" he said and took my hand "Look what they did to her" The blond by said showing everyone my stomach "Jax for god sake let her get cleaned up" Gemma said

Walked back into the bathroom and cleaned up. I wrapped myself in a towel and there was a knock at the door I opened it and saw Opie standing there. "shit" he said taking my face into his hands and looked at my face. "I'm okay" I whispered "He hugged me and I held on tight as if I was going to be ripped away from him "Hey, you are safe now" he said and kissed my cheek "Here are some pants and a shirt" he said

"Thanks" I said I got dressed and walked out into the living room. "You can go crash in Jax's room for the night" Gemma said "No its okay I don't want to be in the way"

"Go sleep" Jax said

I gave him a hug and then Gemma and then I'm guessing who was Clay and then Opie. "Thank you all so much. I said then went to bed.

Present:

I woke up and saw it was 8:30, I got up and walked out of my room and out to the bar, there were men all over the place like usual. Tig was curled up on the pool able between two sluts. I poured myself some coffee. "Hey baby" Gemma said

"Hey mom, how long have you been here?"

"Not long" she said

"Oh god damn, get off me" Tig said getting off the pool table.

"Coffee" I handed Tig a mug "Thanks doll" he said "Do me a favor and get rid of the whores."

"Every time" I walked over to the whore and woke them up "Come on sluts get up" I said handing them clothes, they got up and left.

"Thanks"

"Yeah yeah, I'm going to take a shower"

"Can I join you" Tig asked

I gave him the finger and walked to my room.

"Hey sis"

"Yeah?"

"Can you go check on Wendy and see how the baby is doing, I would but club stuff you know"

"Sure thing" I said gave him a hug

After my shower I got dressed in black jeans a tank top and a jacket with the reaper on it with heel boots and a grey beanie.

"Gem can you come with me and check on Wendy"

"Sure lets go check on the junky whore"

When we got to the house Wendy was on the floor with blood around her. "Go get Jax I'll call 911"

I was passing back and forth until Jax and everyone walked in.

"What the hell happened" Jax asked me.

"Wendy had tracks all over her, and they had to do a c-section on Wendy"

"What about my kid"

"Jax" a nurse said. I turned and saw Tara she was an old friend from high school. Tara told us what happened, Jax walked towards the door.

"Where are you going" stay here, with Mom and Happy" he said and left.

We've been sittin for an hour. "Gemma, Charlie go, I'll stay" Happy said. I have him a kiss on the cheek and we left.

We got back to the lot and I walked into the Clubhouse. "Charlie lass" said a thick Scottish ascent.

"Hey Chibs" I said and gave him a hug

"Jax here"

"Yeah lass in his room" he said kissing his cheek I walked to his room

"Hey do you want to go for a ride?"

"Sure, where"

"Need to see Opie, we need his help"

"Jax he just got out you really think he wants to come back"

"Charlie shut up you don't know what you are talking about" Jax said

I slapped him, "what have I said about telling me to shut up"

"To not to"

"Damn right, now let's go" I snapped at him and grabbed my helmet walk walked out to his bike.

When we got to the lumber yard I saw a tall man with a beanie on I jumped off the bike and ran to him. "Opie" I yelled and jumped on him giving him a big hug and a kiss I the cheek.

"Wow Charlie you look good" he said

I turned a little red, "I've misses you"

"I've missed you too" he said "an thanks for being there with Donna and the kids while I was in the big house."

"Of corse Op, you know you can call me when ever you need me" I said giving him another hug and let Jax talk to him. I sat in Jax's bike and took a pack of cloves out and lit one.

"Okay let's go" Jax said, I got up and hugged Opie "love you" I said kissing his cheek and the running over to Jax's bike and got on.

When we got back on the yard Jax parked his bike and got off. "You still love Opie don't you" Jax said

"I will always love Opie" I said and walked off into the clubhouse.
