Your characters are in a waiting room looking only at their feet. This is the point of view you will be describing your character's wait from. Think about things such as:
How clean are the shoes?
What type of shoes do they have?
what are the condition of the shoes?
Are the toes shown?
What condition are the toes?
How do hey let their feet rest?
Are they quiet and still?
Do they move their feet?
What can you tell about the character by their feet?
