Wave

A wave came and washed away

All that I've worked for and all of my dreams.

"Why?" I cried, tears in my eyes,

"Why have you done this you cruel wall of water

who dashes all hope and douces all dreams?"

"The answer you'll find, given some time," The ocean wave said, his voice gentle and kind.

"The answer will find you at the right time."

The answer awaits me at the end of my road

But still I wait in my humble aboad

Unable, unwilling to set foot on the road.

So all I have left is time and this ryme.
