07: breaking my enemy

💔 Sloan Aphrodisiac 💔

Julian was able to weasel his way into Brooklyn's birthday party even if it was by invitation only, apparently the bouncers used to work for Julian, and they were good friends. I was on my first piña colada and Simrin was taking swigs from her coke when Julian took my refreshment away from me.

"You're too young to be drinking alcoholic beverages." Julian pointed a finger at me accusingly and I watched him drink from Simrin's coke bottle to be certain no alcohol was in it.

What if there was alcohol? Wouldn't he get drunk? Is he stupid? I didn't answer my last question, already knowing the answer.

"Says the one who showed up at my house when he was fourteen, drunk as hell, with a fifty dollar cab payment." I reminded him of the blackmail I had on him and he thrust the glass in my direction. No man or woman, no matter how old, wanted to be on Angela Carmendarez's bad side.

"It's virgin, scouts honor." I lied promisingly, biting the straw. I was never a scout. He nodded but didn't stop eyeing the piña colada. I slid the empty glass to the rented bartender and stood up, only slightly buzzed. It wasn't even a slight buzz, just a little one nipping at my thoughts.

"Let's go dance, Sim." I lowered my skirt a little, it had rode up while I was seated and was catching more than a few people's a attention. Simrin nodded and smiled gratefully at the simple nickname, I usually call her Simmy-rinny-bo-binni, but that didn't seem appropriate to say in an atmosphere like this.

We didn't even get to walk one step before Julian grabbed onto my forearm, and I stumbled in surprise. "No. There are plenty of teenage boys here who don't mind taking advantage of two naive and not-horrible looking girls-"

Gee, thanks, at least you didn't call us ugly this time. Instead of interrupting him with my retort, I slyly waved over two girls. One a platinum blonde, and the other, a dirty blonde; blonde's were Julian's weakness. Platinum was wearing a tee that gave little to the imagination, whereas Dirty wore a dress less revealing. They both were skimpy, nevertheless, another one of Julian's weaknesses. Apparently they didn't think much of the theme of the party, but their hair resembled beehives, like in the movies.

"Julian, meet..." I trailed off during my introduction, not knowing the blondes' names. Julian trailed off as well, his lusty brown eyes focusing on the two friends.

"Eva." The dirty blonde trailed a finger down his arm. Simrin and I both repressed a gag. The other girl draped one of her bare arms on his shoulder and whispered something in his ear, something both inaudible and most probably vulgar.
