Finally. I was finally leaving New York. I worked hard to make sure i did once i graduated high school. Getting accepted into the University of Chicago was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I was always very smart, but i hid my intelligence ever since my parents found out that i was special. They wanted me to be on every team, win every award. I didn't care about being noticed or being above anyone else. Now that i am free from their grasps, i can be whoever i want to be in Chicago.
I fell in love with the Blackhawks in 2010 after watching Jonathan Toews in the Olympics. I never liked hockey, but he changed that for me. And yes i had the biggest crush on him but i don't know any female hockey fans who hasn't. I fell in love with the city of Chicago when i went to the Blackhawk Convention, and i knew that's where i wanted to go to college. Today is the day that everything changes for me, i can feel it.
