Waking up I couldn't help but feel excited, I had a good feeling about today, I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes before going to the bathroom. As I washed my hands I noticed how bad I looked today, I walked into my room and threw on a dress 5?" she asked, i smiled and fiddled with the ends of my hair "firstly going to my parents then going to the groomers for my first day at work" i smiled, she rolled her eyes and stroked my hair "havent you gave up on that place?" she asked
"dont think i ever will Sandy" i smiled "i knew it" she laughed "right i have work to do" she smiled seeing what i guessed was the manager of the hotel looking at her, he looked like a bossy prick, i hugged her and left, i walked towards my parents house and when i got there i could hear my parents from inside laughing and cheering
i knocked the door and someone answered this turned out to be my older brother Mark "hey flump" i said, he looked down at me and smiled "hey you little troublemaker i heard you were back" he laughed lifing me up in a big brother bear hug
he set me down and looked me over "you've grown well" he complimented "thank you, so have you..is that a beard i see forming" i joked touching his stumble "Ahahaha" he laughed sarcastically before pulling me inside the house, when i entered my parents house they smiled and cheered
"We have some news" they smiled, Mrs Maggie was there too from the pet groomers, I waved at her and looked at my parents "what is it then?" I asked smiling widely "your mother is pregnant" dad smiled, I didn't react for a second then I squealed and jumped into their arms "and.. we want you to be her god mother as well" they smiled "yes I accept" I laughed hugging them again.
We all spent awhile talking and catching up before Mrs Maggie decided it was time to get back to the groomers, I hugged my family and we left for the groomers "well here we are, the old Mrs Maggie's groomers" Maggie smiled, I smiled back as she opened the doors "have you got some work done?" I asked stroking the new tiled walls
"Yes we did actually, one of our best costumers donated a lot of money and we used most of it to get more equipment and to re-design this old shack" she laughed slowly walking towards the counter "I am not my old self anymore, I am becoming a old lady and ..... well it's good to have someone younger and more able around to help" she laughed, I nodded and looked around
"You look young to me" I complimented "I may look young but the body is old" she said then the door opened and someone walked in "hey Maggie how's you keeping?" The guy asked, I turned around and seen his police uniform, I closed my mouth and walked towards him then stroked his dog
"Hello beautiful" I smiled as I stroked the dog "Riley this is lizzie, she used to work here a couple years ago and now she is back while off university for holidays" Maggie smiled, the guy turned around and took off his sunglasses "hey I'm Riley" he smiled holding out his hand for a handshake, I lifted my hand and shook his "lizzie" I smiled
"And what your name?" I asked the dog stroking his ears "Benson" Riley chuckled "hello Benson I'm lizzie" I said, I held out my hand and benson put his paw on it then I shook it gently, Benson licked my face and made me laugh "righto so Riley you want Benson to have the usual treatment?" Maggie asked with a sweet smile "yes please Maggie, Benson has been missing this place" Riley chuckled
I stood up and walked behind the counter "okay Hunni well it should be done soon, so you can stay if you want or go about doing your business" Maggie smiled "well I'm going to go to the station and see what's going on then I'll be back for my boy" riley smiled "go on ahead hunni" maggie smiled as he left, he looked at me and smiled "bye" he said "bye bye" i mumbled
when he left, i stared after him and watched as he got into his car and drove off "darling you going weak in the knees for that boy" maggie laughed "no i'm not im just making sure he got to his car okay" i lied walking over to the dog "whatever you say darling but i know he likes you as well" maggie smiled "well even if he did like me, i dont think i could date him" i admitted "why?" maggie asked then suddenly the front door opened "hey y'all" sandy smiled coming in all fabulous like
