Chapter 1

i leaned my arm against the window of the train as join me in death by HIM played in my ears, i was finally coming home from university for the summer, mom and dad will be so happy when i surprise them, i'll be staying in a hotel because I know they made my room the storage room after I left

I shifted in my seat and looked at my IPod and seen powerless by Linkin Park began to play, I looked out as the sun began to come up into the sky showing the beautiful sunrise, I was so happy to be going back home, now I could see sandy and we could go work in at the grooming store which has been there since I was a kid

I remember sandy telling me about the sexy new guys that have moved to town and to be honest that's one thing I am mostly looking forward to, yes the guys at my college are nice looking but when sandy says they're sexy, they ARE sexy

finally after 2 hours of traveling by train I was finally in town, I stretched and thanked the conductor dude then walked to my parents home which wasn't that far from here, I hummed songs which were playing and watched as the cars went past, including two police cars

i followed them with my eyes then continued on my way pulling my suitcase behind me, it was probably making a lot of noise but I was in a dream world with this music

Another police car went past and I caught a glimpse of the police man driving and he was yummy, he smiled as he raced past, I fixed my dress and continued on my way then there it was the house I grew up in, the best place in the world "I'm home" I whispered to myself

I walked up the driveway feeling extremely nervous, my bag got caught on a step but I fixed that problem then I stood outside the door, my heart was thumping against my chest as I reached over and pressed the doorbell, a little tune played which I remembered from my childhood then I heard the talking

I seen my fathers shadow walk to the door then after a couple clicks the door flew open "hey daddy" I smiled, he looked shocked for a moment before laughing and scooped me into a hug "hey baby girl" he whispered kissing my cheek "who is it darling?" Mum asked before seeing me "oh my goodness" she whispered

Before walking over and joining the hug, "why are you home?" Mum asked "I got off for the summer" I smiled "that's brilliant, now come on in, we can clean out your room" dad said "no dad it's fine, I'm staying in a hotel just down the street" I smiled "aw honey you don't have to we can clean out your room" mum said wiping her hands down her apron "no really it's fine, I don't want you two to go through any trouble anyway I've already paid for the room" I reassured, mum was about to say something but dad touched her shoulder

"She isn't a baby anymore Mary" he said with a smile, I nodded and hugged them again "I just came here to surprise you and say hi" I sighed, then I pulled away "I think it's time for me to check into the hotel before they give my room away" I joked before lifting my bags "I'll come around tomorrow okay" I smiled, they nodded and I left

We never really talked much, it has always been like that at least nowadays I can just leave whenever a conversation dries out, as I thought about my parents a bit more, I was suddenly knocked over by a guy who was running "aren't you going to say sorry dickhead!" I shouted at him, I got to my feet and looked at him but he didn't say anything instead he slowly retreated back

I pulled off my shoe and threw it at his head, making him fall to the ground, never fuck with a wedge heel then I seen policemen running over, I grabbed my shoe as they grabbed the guy "say sorry to the lady" they said, the guy looked at me with hate before sucking at his teeth "sorry" he mumbled

The police men smiled at me before pulling the guy away, after that big commotion I finally got to my hotel, where I knew sandy now worked and lived, I entered the doors and no one was around, I went to reception and hit the bell with my hand

"Are you serious that lady is so cheeky she's lucky I don't hit her across the head with that fine painting hanging on the wall" I knew that was sandy that's what she would say, then she entered "I'm so sorry for making you wait there was a problem with one of the rooms" she said "that's fine I am more interested in seeing my friend" I smiled she gasped when she looked up and seen me

"Holy shitballs!" She squealed running around the counter and hugging me "my god I've missed you" she smiled squeezing me like her life depended on it Then she released me "okay so you're checking in?" She asked going back around the counter

"Yeah" I laughed she typed some stuff into the computer the grabbed a key card from behind her "here you go darling ill come up with you" she smiled "mark!" She shouted then a well built guy ran out from the back "take over here" she said before hooking her arm in mine

"Still single?" She asked "yep" I answered, she smiled happy that I was single "thank god wait till you see some of the newbies here" she said putting her hand on her chest and closing her eyes "lets just say I wouldn't kick them out of bed for ... Well for anything" she smiled pressing the button for the elevator

"Well I did see some cops and they were as you said very yummy indeed" I smiled then the doors opened, we stepped in and traveled to the 6th floor while sandy updated me on the latest news

Then we finally got to my room, she opened the door to show this luxsourous room I looked around and gasped "this isn't the room I asked for" I mumbled "I know" she said with a cheeky grin "you're the best" I laughed
