I am not afraid to fall
I am not afraid at all
I am not one to sit and scream
there's too much noise inside of me
can you see me through my eyes?
can you hear me through my ears?
can you feel my presence in every breath I take?
Or is that to much to ask?
I am afraid to sing
I am afraid of nonsense things
I am one to stare and yell
There's so much noise I cannot quell
I can't see you with my eyes
I can't hear you with my ears
can we try a different way?
I know that it is much to ask.
You are not afraid to fall
You are not afraid at all
You are not one to sit and scream
there's to much noise inside of thee
can I see you through your eyes?
can I hear you through your ears?
can I feel your presence in every breath you take?
Maybe that's too much to ask?
You are afraid to sing
You are afraid of nonsense things
You are one to stare and yell
There's so much noise you cannot quell
You can't see me with your eyes
You can't hear me with your ears
can we try a different way?
You know that it is much to ask.
But please
you are like me
please
let's try a different way
please
and maybe we'll be friends today
