I lost myself one day
between the lilies and the roses
I didn't know that's what they were
at the time.
but now I realize
between purity and passion
all I ever saw
was the blood blood red
on the death death white.
Lost, between lilies and roses
flowers and the sky
I saw the death of me
and your lovely blue eyes.
Between sanctity and ruin
between pleasure and the pain
If I could only go back
repeat the day again
and the sky would be gray,
not blue that day
and I would not lose myself
between lilies and the sky
between hello and goodbye
between 'to live' and 'to die'
