Secluded Journey

A tear so small could rip apart our souls,

Spirit shadows scare away our ghouls,

I say, never shall I pray,

For he will know of all that I stole.

Once again, I find a place to stay,

For she knew the coffin in which I lay,

Oh the irony of her sweet but tempered heart,

No one ever knows if its the ending or the start,

Her sweet sounding tones

Send shivers through my bones,

Till the day with no reason to pass,

How do we know that this won't be our last?

So here we are, we've come so far,

Tell me how you got that scar,

Marks of history do persist,

Share the stories, I must insist,

Retired journeys make me sad,

The destination is just so rad!

Take me with you, we'll fly away,

Stick to the path, don't go astray,

Hands reach out with offered help,

Guidance? Yuck, I want to yelp,

Trust me now we are on our way,

No negativities can ruin our day.

Now we've come to the very last strand,

Feeling abandoned on a distant land,

Hold me tight and never let go,

Confuse me now with emotions you show,

Nothing good ever lasts,

So leave me now to be an outcast.
