Kat POV

"I would like everyone to welcome the Midnight Pack into ours. As discussed at the Pack meetings they will be here for a while helping us through our current situation. As your alpha, I'm ordering everyone to welcome into our homes with a positive attitude".

I was currently standing on stage at gala with none other than Blake. I practically tuned him out as he went on and on about the new pack who was currently standing in the back of the room. Almost all off the guys were really muscular. Blake had muscles and was fit but these guys were like sexy, hot, fit, muscular and they all had good bodies from I could see. Which was alot since they were all wearing tight fitting shirts. There alpha, who's name happen to be Conner had the best body I've ever seen.

He was currently wearing a tight white V neck shirt with this muscles on display. I noticed he had a tattoo of some type of design ln his left arm which went really well with his look. He had dark brown hair with a hot face. His broen eyes were beautiful especially for him.

I haven't realized I was staring until Ryan's voice popped into my head, making me jump and recieve glares from some of the mean pack girls.

'What the hell are you staring at?' Ryan asked. I looked down at him from the stage to see he was standing in the front row, directly in front of me.

'Shut up ' I replied playfully glaring at him.

'Stop drooling at whoever your looking at. Its your turn to speak' I slightly nodded my head at him and tuned in just in time to her Blake's dad announcing the 'Luna' to speak. I took a deep breath and voiced the speech I have been practicing since Ryan left my house earlier.

"Hi everyone. My name is Katherine Evans and I am the packs Luna. " When I took a breath to continue I heard someone snort then add 'more like baby mama' at the end. My mouth popped open a little before closing. My eyes went to Conner who was watching me. I quickly looked down at Ryan to see him nod his head at me encouraging me to continue.

"It is a honor to have such a strong and close pack here to help us in our time of need. So thank you for taking the time to come here and I hope you guys enjoy your stay while your here. " When I was done with my short speech, no one except Ryan and my parents clapped for me.

"whore" I heard someone call from my left which made the room fill with laughter. I looked around to see everyone laughing at me besides my parents, Ryan , Blake and the Midnight pack. I never felt the amount of embarrassment I felt in that moment.

I lifted my Royal blue floor length dress with my hand and quickly walked down the stairs and nearly ran out the room. I heard Ryan behind me calling my name but that didnt stop me. I kept walking until I was almost to my car when Ryan grabbed my shoulder to stop me.

"What" I said on the verge of tears. They were close to falling but I held them back.

"Dont listen to them. They are all f*cking assholes who were trying to get under your skin." He said while pulling me into a hug.

"Yeah, dont listen to them. Every last one of them are d*cks." Ryan released me from the hug and we both turned around to the voice we heard.

There were 2 girls and im guessing there mates because the guys shoulder were around them, and then there was Conner. It was just the five of their pack members outside with us and they still looked dangerous and hot if that was even possible.
