~ Hayes' POV ~ (40 minutes later)
"How was your day in NY without all of us?" Nash asked me, probably not really caring.
"Great," I said. "Nice not having to share a room with you," I grinned. Jack J, Jack G, Nash, Cam, Taylor, Matt, Jacob, Aaron, Shawn, and I were in New York on the Magcon tour, but because of flight problems, I got to stay a day longer than everybody else, who all had to come back to L.A.
"Meet any babes?" Nash smirked, no doubt thinking I hadn't.
"Some gorgeous girl on the plane." I smiled.
"What's her name?" He winked jokingly at me.
"Skyler." As soon as the word had left my mouth, Nash froze. But only for about a millisecond before relaxing. "Um, what's up?" I asked him.
"I, um, knew a Skyler... Coincidence though, right? I mean there are probably a lot of Skylers..."
"I don't know." I said, not really caring. "Gonna go unpack." I told him.
~ Skyler's POV ~ (next morning, 10:00am)
I groaned as my phone alarm rang, blasting out Nirvana music. I was jet lagged, and if I hadn't set an alarm, I might wake up at 2pm or something. I rolled out of bed (literally, it hurt), and stumbled into the bathroom, where I brushed my teeth, washed my face, straightened my hair (I had taken a shower last night), and applied make-up. This included mascara, eyeliner, nude/light pink-ish lip liner, and filling in my eyebrows lightly. After changing into my outfit, which was just a black crop top, combat boots and some jean shorts.
I ran to the kitchen, filling up on the donuts Jess had picked up. I glanced down at my phone, which was still on the kitchen island, right where I left it last night. I scrolled through the list of alerts.
New iMessage: Hayes: Good morning ;)
New iMessage: Hayes: Where's your apartment/wherever your staying?
New iMessage: Hayes: Sry that probably sounded creepy...
New iMessage: Hayes: Would you like to hang out sometime though?
New iMessage: Jack G: hey babe
New iMessage: Jack G: where'd u fly 2 btw? i forgot 2 ask
New iMessage: Alyssa: ugh miss u already :(
Instagram: You've gotten 94 new likes since yesterday
I opened up my iMessages, responding to Jack, with: dont call me that, and LA and Alyssa (one of my closest friends), with: me too ;(. I texted Hayes back, saying: Morning :) My address is 139 Saphiren Road, btw and of course I would! (A/N idk ignore the street name lol)
Hayes responded seconds later: Today?
Me: Sure, wanna come over later and hang in the pool/eat? U can bring some friends
Hayes: Sounds perfect, 6 work? :)
Me: C ya then
