Zya's long black hair billowed behind him as he stormed down the hallway with me in tow behind him. This wasn't good it was a risk to fight them which was my choice, or to move to another area to keep the pack safe away from potential danger. We had to fight for this place though, we have been here since I became Zya's slave. It was kind of had a sentimental value to me and I probably speak for others in the pack as well, most definitely the elders. Once we reached the doors to the meeting room Zya stopped me as his eyes scanned me. I could see the worry in his icy grey eyes that usually hold the strong alpha cold stare. I wondered what was on his mind, I knew he was stressed but anything else playing through it? Zya then said

"We are going to move the pack, Plague."

I furrowed my eyebrows while I looked at Zya with confusion written all over my face. I then say with a bit of anger

"What? No, we need to stay and fight, Zya. So many families grew up here from many generations ago, we can't just let it go without even fighting for it."

Zya grumbles a bit to himself. He looks me in the eyes but he knew I was right and he knew a lot of families would agree with this as well. He half smiled while touching my face gently and he says softly

"How about we fight, but if it turns to the worst I want everyone to come back and move immediately, okay?"

I half smiled at least I was kind of getting what I wanted. I then replied a bit happy

"Alright, let's tell our warriors"

Zya let his hand drop down to his side and flung the double doors wide open and entered with his alpha face on. I noticed many men and a few women in the crowd as some flinched at the sudden noise from Zya's entrance and all of them bowed their heads to show Zya respect. I noticed Zya had put his strict alpha face on so many wouldn't worry. I followed close behind him, while scanning the crowd as my eyes landed on her damn fried fake blonde hair. My stomach twisted into knots, as I struggled not to growl. Her plain hazel eyes came to a halting stop and stared into my eyes. Fury reached my eyes while I began to clenching my teeth and fists, she was the first one that Zya actually loved and cared about... but literally ripped his heart out. How dare she come back at this time, when Zya and I are finally together. I could see the fury in her eyes while I stood next to Zya in front of everyone. I then heard Zya in my head.

"Stop looking at her, you're going to lose control if you don't"

I growled mostly to myself and looked away from her. I glanced at Zya he was right though. I saw him glance at her making my blood boil a bit. Zya then spoke up

"We are at a red alert, the hunters are planning an attack on us soon. My mate and I have both agreed on..."

All of a sudden a tiny skinny preppy girl stood up from the seat right next to that bitches chair. She had dared to interrupt Zya by saying.

"Wait a minute, that pathetic slave is now your mate? How pathetic of you"

My eyes snapped towards her as I heard Zya growl next to me. I opened my mouth to reply to rip her a new one but Zya spoke before me.

"Shima, do you honestly think that you could even come close to be being better then my mate?"

Shima scoffed while flinging her dried up hair and crossed her arms and hissed out in a snotty tone

"Of course, I am better looking, raised nobly and a better fighter then she could ever be."

I grinned evilly as I said mostly to Zya

"I think she is calling  me out to a challenge Zya!"

Zya looked at me evilly as my father stepped into the room and walked next to me. I then saw Aida walking and made his way to this Shima bitch grabbing her in the back of the neck. She gasped out in shock as Roku then spoke up.
