I just got out of the shower and I was laying down in bed when I heard my phone ring. It was none other than Antonio Lane. In my phone he saved his number as Daddy I happily answered "Hey Babe!" I chirped
"Hey." He replied dryly
"Are you okay?" I asked hearing the anger/sadness in his voice
"Nah I just got into an argument with my mom." He mumbled
"About what?" I asked worried
"She got mad that I wouldn't give her 30 dollars and then she's like you can't get a real job and I'm like at least I have a job." He explained
"Where do you work?" I asked forgetting about the whole argument thing
He went silent for a couple seconds like he was thinking about something before he said
"I'm a.. I sell drugs."
The line was silent for a little while. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I cursed
"Heyy don't cuss." He laughed like it was a joke
"You cuss all the time." I pointed out making a good point
"It don't matter what I do. I told you not to cuss so are you gonna do it again?" I could tell he was smirking. Me being stubborn I wanted to argue but he was kind of right plus I don't really like cussing anyway "So are you going to do it again?" He repeated for sure smirking that ugly smirk. Ugh he's so annoying
"No I won't do it again." I sighed
"Good." He teased
"Good." I mimicked childishly
"Good." He repeated
"Shut up you drug dealer."
He laughed. "So you don't care that I seel drugs?" He asked
"Of course I care but I know that you aren't going to stop so what's the point I arguing?" I admitted
"Do you want me to stop?" He asked
"Of course I want you to stop. I don't want my boyfriend to sell drugs." I said
"I'll stop for you. I'll try to get a real job." He sweetly replied
"Really? It's that easy?" I asked feeling like there was a trick or but coming up
"I'm not really into risking my life for a little money so yeah I want to apply for like a small job until we finish high school." He explained
"I'm proud of you Toni." I said nodding my head
"Its all thanks to you. If it weren't for you I'd probably still have like five Fs on my report card." He chuckled
"Yeah last time I talked to Mr. Sperduto he said that he's proud of you too. He said that you have a b almost an A in his class this quarter. Also I saw Mr. Ostrander and she said that your doing 100 times better in her class."
"Thank you Leah." He thanked. I rolled my eyes
"Toni you don't have to thank m-
"Yes I do. Just accept it." I laughed
"Your welcome Mr. Lane." I yawned.
"Alright good night Church girl ill see you tomorrow at school."
"Okay see you later." I made the kissing sound and hung up
I quickly fell asleep thinking about Antonio. I really think I love him
