Imagination

In a world,

That's cold and gray,

In my head's,

A sunny day.

Three colors in the world,

Just black, gray, and white.

Everything blends,

Days into night.

But in my mind,

I have green and blue!

Red and orange,

All bright and new!

There's a rainbow

Of color and light,

Like a blind man,

Suddenly has sight.

I see flowery fields,

And a bright blue sky,

And purple mountains,

Rising up high.

I see silver stars,

And a sparkling sea,

But most of all,

I see me.

Colorful me,

Looking bright and new.

But there's enough color,

To share with you.
