Hush, don’t speak a word,

All the world is silent,

Listen to the sound,

Of our uncontrolled Violence,

You cover your ears,

But the lone nothingness,

It is within you,

Your internal weakness.

The world, gone for good,

At our own brutal hand,

What once was living,

Is now nothing but sand.

I hope you do realise,

That what you wished for,

Was not what you wanted,

You did not want war.
