Ariana's POV

Logan was right, maybe it was time to let go of everything me and Avan had ever had, it wasn't more then a few weeks. I was walking home when I felt several rumbles going down my leg. It was my phone,

Avan <3

Can we talk? I'm sorry about early.

I wasn't actually sure whether or not I should actually answer him. I mean he'd broken my heart not even an hour ago when he drove away leaving me alone in the parking lot. Why should I even consider what he has to say? I replied,

You can't just worm your way back in. It's not that easy.

After that he didn't reply again. I just stood there completely out of it. I hadn't realized that I was standing in the middle of the street, luckily it was empty. I continued my way to my driveway, and entered my house. I walked up the stairs, placed my bag neatly on the floor and threw myself onto the bed. I glanced over at the calendar realizing that prom was two days away, and I had nobody to go with. I mean there's Logan, but I don't know.

I guess I'll just be going alone. I mean there's nothing wrong with that right?

I called up Liz and told her that I wanted to go dress shopping. She agreed eventhough she wasn't much of the girly type really.

I waited outside my house and she pulled up, I walked to the car and said,

"Hey!"

"What's wrong? You only plan things like this with me last minute when you're upset."

"It's Avan. We broke up, and then he saw me kiss Logan."

"Ari. You're not the type, why would you kiss a guy you barely knew?!"

"Liz can we just go?"

"Sure sassy pants."

As we began driving down the street, we passed Avan's house and I noticed Victoria standing in his front yard.

Avan's POV

I'm not trying to worm my way back in, I just wanted to talk to her. I miss her, and I shouldn't have been so embarrassed about being in love with her. I've lost the one thing I was actually happy to call all mine. I have no idea what to do. I sat on the edge of my bed with my face buried in my arms. Suddenly my mom's voice echoed in the hall,

"Avan! Taylor's here!"

Then Taylor came walking through my bedroom door and said,

"Dude, are you seriously upset about her?"

"Yes."

"Well you shouldn't be because Victoria's waiting outside for you."

"Well, tell her that I'm not in the mood for anything."

"Hottest girl ever on your front lawn and you're sitting here thinking about Ariana!?"

"Taylor leave please."

He gave me his face of disapproval and I just scoffed, and he left. I wasn't ready to move on from her. Nor would I ever be.
