Isabel's POV:
I woke up in the morning and looked at my alarm clock, it was only 6 in the morning. I decided just to get up and get ready because I knew that i won't be able to fall back asleep. I went into the bathroom and went to the bathroom. After, I looked at myself in the mirror, my hair was a mess. so i brushed my hair. After i was done getting ready i looked myself over. I'm wearing some shorts, a tank top, my favorite pink sneakers with white laces, and my long brown wavy hair is down.
It was now 7:30 so I went downstairs and saw my parents in the kitchen, they had just finished making breakfast.
" hi mom, hi dad " I said.
" hi Izzy" my parents both said in unison and i laughed at that.
" wheres Jake? " I asked
" i'm right here sis " Jake said " first day of school huh? "
Jake is My overprotective brother. You don't want to mess with him because he's one of the strongest wolves in our pack " The Wood Forest pack ".
" ya ugh! " i said.
" well you two have to eat before school so you better start or you will be late" mom said.
" Done! ( smiling ) " I said.
" Me too " Jake said
" You should get to school before your late " mom said
" Bye " me and Jake said in unison.
" Bye " mom and dad said in unison.
I walked out the door and saw my friends Gia, Natalie, and Tammy waiting for me at the end of the drive way. Tammy, Gia, and Natalie are my best friends. Tammy is wearing a flowery flowing dress with a brown belt and some flats. Gia is wearing shorts, a nice blue flowy shirt, and some sandals. Natalie is wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and gym shoes. They are all juniors.
Once i caught up with them we started talking about how we wish we will find out who our mate is soon and how we will meet them. I got caught up in a day dream after a while... I found my mate he is the most kind person and of course handsome...
" hello isabel are you with us you spaced out" Gia said
" oh were you thinking about how your mate will be " Tammy said all peppy and smiley, with that smile i should just call her smiley right now.
" maybe" I said in a shy and embarrassed voice.
When we finally got to school you can see all the kids walking around the hallways like a stampede. i went to my locker to grab all my books for class. I then waited for my friends to come to my locker so we can walk to class together. When me and my friends get to first period english we automatically notice how hot the teacher is. All the students are either smiling at him, fixing their makeup to make sure they look good, trying to get his attention, or just staring. When Hannah walks into class she walks straight up to him and tries to seduce our teacher Mr. Long, key word trying. Hannah is wearing a crop top, shorts that are too short that it shows her butt, and to top it all off a pair of stilettos. Me, Gia, Natalie, and Tammy are all watching Hannah trying to seduce are really hot teacher. We looked at the teacher's face and it was all scrunched up and had a look of disgust on his face. We couldn't stand it anymore we all laughed at what we saw. Everyone turned and looked at us then turned to what we were looking at, and they all started laughing too. The teacher didn't seem to care but Hannah sure did and turned around and looked me straight in the eye while glaring and mouthed " you're dead bitch ". Then Hannah stomped her way out the door. I didn't really think anything of what Hannah mouthed to me because i saw it as an open threat. An hour later class was over and we all got our stuff and went to our next class.
There is about 5 minutes left of class then school is over. Im in history right now and only Gia has this class with me Natalie and Tammy have science together right now. My teacher is so boring i think he's teaching about how life was in the 1920's, but who know i haven't been really paying attention. History is my worst and most boring subject in school. 30 more seconds of class 5...4...3...2...1 schools done for the day! I gather my stuff and walk out of class and run into hannah, just great ( sarcasm )! Hannah then turns around...
" Hey look where you're going "!!! Hannah says with attitude and annoyance in her voice.
" Sorry " I said apologetically.
" Ya you better be sorry " Hannah says.
" you know what i may be nice and kind but i will stand up for myself bitch "!!! I said.
" What did you just say to me " Hannah says
" I said that you're being a total bitch "!!! I said a little too loud that a couple people turned their heads to look at her and what's going on.
" Hey Izzy "! Tammy says to me. then she notices that i am mad and turns around to see a pissed off Hannah.
" Hey what's going on " Gia says in a way that's saying let's get out of here.
" Nothing i was just about to leave, come on guys let's go " I said. you can still hear the annoyance and anger in my voice which is rare.
Me and my friends started to walk back home from school, once we got to my house we waved goodbye to each other then they kept on walking. I went inside and saw that jake beat me home today.
" Hi sis " Jake yelled.
" Hi " I said.
" what's wrong sis " Jake said with a sad and worried face on.
" Nothing, i'm fine " I said
" No you're not i've lived with you for my entire life iz, so i know when something's wrong " Jake said in a soft tone. he still has his worried and sad face on.
" Fine this one girl named hannah fahey she just made me so mad today, i officially hate her hmph "!!! I said.
" well if she does anything else like that to you just tell me and i'll deal with her for you, ok? " Jake said.
" ok i will " I said.
" you promise " Jake said making sure she's not just saying that to make him happy.
" I promise, anyways wheres mom and dad? " I asked Jake.
" At nanas and papas house to visit, they won't be back until next week in the afternoon " Jake said
" Ok, i'm just going to grab an apple to eat while doing homework " I informed jake.
I went up to do my homework when i was done i threw away my finished apple, packed my backpack, got in pajamas, and went to bed.
I know this first chapter was boring but i had to introduce some of the characters and give you some information you will need to know for this book to make sense please keep reading it's going to get way better i promise.
