A/n I wrote this a while ago. Sorry its short
"Shikamaru?" I call out, my voice cracking slightly. "Shika." I cry, shaking the sleeping boy shoulder.
"What do you want (Y/n), Its 2 am." He grumbles. He notices my tears and sits up.
"I had the dream of them dying again, except you were with them this time." I sob, covering my face with my hands. He sighs.
"That dream is such a drag... come here." He says, moving over in the bed. I crawl next to him and he wraps his arms around me. I lay my head on his chest and we lay like that for a while.
"I'm sorry." I whisper, taking his hand in mine.
"For what?" He asks. While I play with his fingers I think on how to word it.
"Just everything. I'm probably such a pain." I reply truthfully, thinking back to all the times the dark haired boy has helped me.
"Well yeah, you can be a pain, but its all worth it in the end." He explains, laying his hand on mine.
"Thank you." I reply, lacing our fingers together. I sigh heavily, and my eyes flutter closed. Right when I'm about to fall asleep, I feel him kiss the top of my head.
"Anything for you."
