Once we are parked, Julian gets out and I follow his actions.

"What time does your school day end?" He asks me, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Around two." I stated, he nodded his head and I see him start off in the opposite direction of the school.

"What are you doing?" I question him. I just hope that he isn't trying to do something stupid.

"Ditching, just go back and be a good little girl, why don't ya..." He kept walking, once again, not giving me an ounce of respect by turning and facing me.

"Okay, first of all we are the same exact age, so don't call me a little girl. And second, you cannot just ditch school."

"Oh, yeah, we are the same age... So you are not in the right place to tell me what I can and cannot do." He said, clearly acting so smart. He keeps walking and I turn to walk with Max, until I feel guilty. I can't just let him roam about and get in trouble.

"Hey, I'll catch up with you later, thank you for the ride Max." He nods his head.

"Okay, good luck. And Ashley, just don't let him rub off on you. You're perfect the way you are." He smiles.

"Thanks Max... Okay, well you better go, and I need to catch up with this fool." He chuckled and walked off. I jog up to Julian and walk alongside him.

"Look, you are relocated, so you by law need to be in school. You cannot risk getting in trouble again." I explain, hoping that he will just stop with his stubborn behavior and listen.

"No, I ditched my last school, I can do it here too." He keeps walking and I throw my hands in the air and stop in my tracks.

"Come back Julian!" I yell.

"Naw, I'm out of here." He puts his hands back into his pockets and I huff.

"But you don't even know your way around here..."

"I can find my way back to school when it gets out." He explains. I knew that I had to make a decision, I could not just let him get in trouble here, but I don't want to get in trouble in the process of trying to protect him.

"Trying to make a decision? I knew a goodie goodie like you could never ditch school." He stopped and looked back at me, I notice the larger distance between us now and I glare at him.

"I am not a goodie goodie." I roll my eyes, placing my hands on my hips.

"Tell me again then, what is the worst thing you have ever done?" He smiled, there was only silence between us, and I looked down.

"Look where you are at Ashley: school. You are that perfect daughter that never gets in trouble. You would never ditch school, even if someone was willing to pay you to do it." He pointed to the school and I looked back at the place, and I knew that he was right. I guess I never really thought about it, I just minded my parents. If only he knew how lucky I got, maybe he would appreciate them and this place much more.

"See: goodie goodie, you cannot even deny it." He turned back around, suddenly much more confident than what he seemed before. I look up to the sky and let a big breath go.

"Fine." I say and I catch up and begin to match steps with him.

"Great. So now you'll be joining me? That isn't what I wanted." He rolls his eyes, and I punch him in the arm, he chuckled.

"You punch like a girl, princess." He smirked, I couldn't help but let a small laugh go myself.

"Yeah? Well I'd like to see you do better." He smirked and turned his head as we walked, I stared into his grayish blue eyes, waiting for his response.
