OK, guys this is my first try to write in guy's perspective. I am definitely not trying to speak as a guy, neither will I be good at it.I am sorry for the flaws.

Commitment, a strong word, a lock, a decoy.
Commitment, To the girl I date, I need to keep.
Commitment, a tie I won't break, I can't break.
Commitment, so I left my girl behind instead.
But "My girl" I called her, without knowledge.
Was she my love-the girl I left behind?
But "My love" I called her, my heart did, uncontrolled,
Was she my love-the girl I left behind?
I can't be the guy who cheats,the one who uses,
I am obliged to the girl I am with now, my date.
"My love"I called her too, but not uncontrolled,
"My girl", I called her with conscience not heart.
My life she saved, a life she gave and built- a drug,
She is the drug-the girl I left behind.
She is the shoulder I always relapsed to, like a rebound,
Or even my antedote- the girl I left behind.
All she asked was my smile, she tried for it too,
The girl of any guys dream, the dream catcher,
She never demanded more,but always hoped ,
She always wanted to be my girl. Alas,if only I ..
She was the girl I needed, the girl I wanted, everything,
But I had one already-So I left her behind.
She was my first, and my very last, if only I knew her heart,
We could have been-but No, I left her behind.
