Promises

He made a lot of promises,

But now its all just ominous.

Now I'm forced to compromise,

And to curses -I immunize!

It's just a way of survival,

I am no way up to my rival.

He can of course, go be happy,

I will let go without being scrappy;

Whether I am unhappy,

Is none of your business, you sappy!

Phew, I am relieved it's over.

That it didn't drag till he took over.

But maybe he already did, as, if I am right I can't breathe.

And maybe I should let it go, there is no hand to soothe.

"My world is you, belle,I will always be yours,

Please don't leave me dream, I will become a corpse",

And now look at who did leave?

And did you die of grief?

All you did was lie,

And my bad,I did fly .

Now I am shredded blemishes,

And to me, you are broken promises.

Never in my life on my premises,

I will allow you to make menaces.

An innocent callow virgin I was,

A conscious, observing hoe I am.

All because of you,

Your words, my shrew.

And if I ask you , what were promises to you,

You reply "A mistake, just like you"!

You reply "A mistake, just like you"!
