Hello my wonderful readers! I understand it has been forever but please be patient with me. I've been having some major writers block but I'm hopefully getting back into the story! Anyways! Enough talk, let's read! :) enjoy!

Kyle carried me out and took me to an empty class room. He set me down and glared at me. "This is exactly why I didn't want you to leave my side! Why did you disobey me?!" He was furious. I coward away from him.  "Answer me Spencer! Why did you fight her?!" He was so angry that I trembled the slightest. I gathered my courage and stepped forward a bit. "Why are you yelling at me!!? That girl started it! No wait in fact you started it when you had to be with me 24/7! Did it ever occur to you that maybe a dumb half breed like me would like her privacy?!" I screamed. He stood there, stunned. I clenched my hands, on the brink of tears. "Just... Just leave me alone..." I muttered, looking away from him. "Don't ever talk to me again..." I stated though I deeply regretted it. "Spenc..." He tried to reach out to me. I veered away. "Don't... Don't act like you care about me!" I looked back up at him. "Spen-" I cut him off. "Don't act like my voice matters because apparently it doesn't!" I was close to going off again. "Spencer just listen to me!" I took a deep breath and have Kyle the worst look you can give a mate, the one of pure pain and anger. Tears started to stream from my eyes and I clenched my fist. "Please just leave me alone!" I yelled before dashing out of the room. Not chancing it I closed my eyes and didn't look back. Running out of the school I skipped school the rest of the afternoon. Running to a spot somewhere in the woods I sat down in the fluffy grass and pulled my legs into my chest, sobbing into my knees. I hate my life! It's not like I wanted this life. I didn't choose to become a half breed. Everyone takes one look at you and decides your not worth anything not a spare look, not a spare breath, nothing your just considered dirt. I thought Kyle was different. He treated me like a true wolf like I was the best thing in the world but his possessiveness got out of hand. I wasn't use to so much eyes on me and being with Kyle all the time made it so I had everyone's eyes on me at all times it was getting frustrating as if my life wasn't complicated enough with the gossip about me being a half breed. I wanted nothing more than to curl up and go to sleep, never to wake up again. I don't want this life... The constant stares, the whisperings, the condescending looks, I don't want any of it! I'm sick of it all! I thought Kyle understood me but apparently love doesn't conquer everything... I know it was wrong of me to storm off like and to even pick a fight with the bitch but Lila was angry and I don't know how to control her when she's angry. Hey, Lila? I ask. Yeah what is it? She answers. I think for a moment before speaking. Could my anger be linked to my new found wolf abilities? I question. She thinks for a bit before answering. I suppose it could be. That would make a lot more sense as to why you've been so upset and angered more easily. You are not use to me being controlling over your body and emotions so it's confusing you. I hum my response. I see... I should apologize to Kyle then... I wonder why I'm suddenly getting all my wolf abilities back. I mean it can't be just because I met my mate. It has to be something else I just can't quite put a finer on it. I sigh and lay back on the grass. Sometimes I wonder why I can't be human and have a normal life. Being full wolf wouldn't be bad either. But if I were human I could leave the whole mate and wolf thing behind and enjoy people's company with out all the gossip. I take a deep breath in. No... I need to learn to accept myself. It doesn't matter who doesn't like me all that matters is that I'm happy. As long as I have my mate and a free will and then I will be happy. I close my eyes and soak up the Suns rays. I could stay out here forever and just sleep in the warmth of the sun. Exhaling loudly I heard a twig snap. Shooting yo and looking around I spot a boy standing in the woods not to far from me. We lock eyes and stare at one another. His eyes were wild, like he'd seen somethings horrible and at the sight of me he eased into relief. He ran toward me, stumbling over the rocks and logs that scattered the ground. Standing up and catching the boy as he fell into my arms he panted and looked up at me. "Please help!" Just then another sound caught my ears I snapped my head up to look at the person standing in front of me. The man looked angry and he was holding a knife, a knife I recognized as an enemy pack of ours. Instantly a growl ripped through my chest and exited my lips. I held the boy protectively. The boy in my arms was younger than me, about nine years younger than me. He clung onto me and stared at the man in front of us. "Move out of my way girly, or I'll kill you as well!" He stated gruffly. I held onto the boy tighter and took a step back. "What do you want with him?" I questioned. His eyes narrowed at me. "That's none of your concern!" He barked back. I growled at his tone of voice. He was about to snap, I could see it in his eyes. "I won't hand him over to you! Leave before I call my alpha!" I threaten. By the smell and looks of him he was an eastern pack, one we didn't get along well with yet we never fought a war or battled. We had no quarrel with one another so there was no reason to fight but this situation gave me plenty of reason to fight the man in front of me. I didn't care that he was older than me, I cared that he was trying to get this boy and I wouldn't let him. This boy was terrified and only 8 years old, the boy couldn't of wronged the man in front of us so I was going to protect him no matter what! The man growled and started turning into his wolf form. "Than I'll just kill you, little half breed!" I drew a sharp breath. I need to save this boy! Let me loose!! Get the boy up that tree and he'll be safe! Lila urged. Taking her advice I leaned down to the boy and took his shoulders. "Look, I want you to climb that tree and don't come down until I tell you too, alright? Can you do that for me?" He stared at me, his heart pounded loudly. He gulped and then nodded. I watched him run to the tree and begin to climb it. I turned back to the wolf in front of me and closed my eyes for a second. Alright Lila, come out! At that second I felt this incredible power over take my body, just like when I was attacking that girl back at school. Opening my eyes I noticed how sharp my vision was and how dark everything around me became. I knew my eyes were black. Baring my canine teeth and making claws with my hands, which now had sharp nails on them, I took a defensive stance. I wasn't in wolf form but I had my wolf abilities with in me. Letting Lila take over completely I charged at the wolf and jumped on him. He took me down with in seconds and had me pinned to the ground, his jaw snapping at my face. Using my survival skills I kicked him off and growled at him. We started to circle around, waiting for the other to attack. "Just give up girly!" He barked out. I growled. "Never!" I spat back. This time he jumped on me and dug his paws into my arms. Screaming from the pain I could feel my eyes darken and Lila's power was put to the limit. Opening my mouth I bit down on the wolfs ear, hearing his painful yowl in return. Separating once agin we started to circle one another again. "It's such a shame that you'd let yourself die before handing over that boy!" I let a bark out and lowered myself. "I'll be damned if I let you kill such an innocent boy! You eastern wolves are sicker than I thought!" I shouted back before pouncing on him and slashing my nails across his entire face. His yelp of pain had me smirking. "Why you little-!" Soon his large jaws bit down in my arm. Screaming I used my other hand to scratch at his face, trying to pry his jaw off of me. "Enough!" A familiar voice shouted. Kyle! Looking up slightly I saw him seething with rage. Suddenly I was kicked with the wolfs hind leg and pummeled into a tree. Groaning I grabbed my ribs and looked up to see Kyle in his wolf form, fighting with the other wolf. My breathing was labored but despite the pain I say up a watched as the two wolves fought viciously. Please let Kyle be okay. I pleaded to myself. Barking and growling and yelps of pain entered my hearing and I looked up to find the boy staring down at the fight. He shouldn't be seeing this. Suddenly a whimpering sounded and I saw the wolf running off. Kyle panted and locked eyes with me. He changed into his human form and walked over to me. He knelt down and picked me up, his eyes still black. Feeling all the pain of my injuries I knew Lila had left me. "Wait! The boy!" I remembered. Kyle stopped and looked down at me, setting me back down on the ground. He he stood there, completely angered. I sighed. "You can come down now!" I shouted up to the boy, my ribs throbbing as I did so. The boy scrambled down as quickly as he could and ran to me, hugging me gently. Smiling I hugged him back. Looking up at Kyle I noticed he was gone. Damn... I pulled the little boy back a bit. "Mind explaining all this to me?" I asked gently. His lower lip quivered. "My mommy and daddy were with me in the woods and suddenly told me to run and so I did and then I tripped and fell down. When I woke up I saw that man approaching me and so I took off running and found you. Where's my mommy and daddy?" He asked. My heart shattered. There's no way the boy's parents were left alive. I hugged the boy again and stroked his head. "Honey... Who were your parents?" I asked. He waited a moment before answering me. "Clair and Jack Madden." He answered. My stomach dropped. They were both from our pack... This boy must be wolf as well. "Let's get you home shall we?" He nodded and I stood up, despite the horrible pain that shot through my body. Picking up the kid and carrying him back to our pack area. Finally arriving there I saw that the pack house was in use. Kyle must be having a meeting about what happened earlier. I glared. He still didn't need to leave me to deal with the boy alone. I could hardly walk back here! Setting the boy down a women came up and picked him up. "Oh Liam!" She hugged him tightly and kissed him. I collapsed on to the ground and a crowd started to gather. "Look it's that half breed girl!" They pointed down at me but I was too weak and my vision was getting hazy. "No! She's the girl who saved me!" The boy cried out, coming to my defense. Suddenly Kyle was picking me up and carrying me into the huge pack house. My breathing was shallow. I must be losing too much blood... My eyes slipped closed. "Stay with me Spencer!" Kyle exclaimed but it was too late, the darkness had already consumed me.
