I walked past Papi's room and he was on his iPad.
"Did you do your homework?"
"Yes.. Mommy helped me.", he said and I nodded.
I went downstairs and I saw Nicki sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Hey baby."
"Hey.", she said still looking at the TV.
"What's on your mind? Talk to daddy."
"It's nothing."
"Don't do that."
I sat her down on my lap and she put her head on my shoulder.
"Do you think we should've told our parents the gender and name?"
"It's our lives. Not theirs. If we didn't want to then, we didn't want too. They'll know in less than 48 hours."
"I was thinking, we should go on vacation after I give birth."
"You wanna go back to Hawaii?", I asked and she nodded.
"Might as well buy a house down there."
"I don't know why you didn't do it last time."
She went to get the door and I went in the kitchen to get something to eat.
"Hey Chino.", Nicki said.
"Hey Meek."
"What you do this time?"
"I just came to see Nicki. She due in 2 days right?", he asked and I nodded.
"I'm trying to make sure she stays off her feet as much as possible."
"What we having for dinner?"
"Salad.", I said and she groaned.
"I'm going out."
"Where?"
"Mom's house to get some real food!"
I walked to living room and hugged her from behind.
"No don't go."
"Then feed me some real food."
"Fine spoiled brat. You're having salad tomorrow though."
"I don't care. I'll be too excited for my baby to come.", she said smiling.
"You guys tell anybody the gender or name?", Chino asked.
"If somebody else ask me that, I'm punching someone in the face."
I moved my arms and she sat back on the couch.
"You want a pizza?"
"It's been 7 months since I've had pizza."
"Pizza it is. I'll be back."
I grabbed my keys and Sherika, Candi, Thembi, Tak, Coon, and Deen walked in.
"Y'all forgot what knocking is these past months.", Nicki said.

"Where is Meek going?", Sherika asked.
"To get pizza. He was going to make salad tonight, but I said no."
