I had organized everything for Ellie's birthday party, the food had arrived, i finished decorating and the guest were arriving, I was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a Mickey mouse pullover to go with the theme, Ellie loved Mickey Mouse, he was wearing a Mickey Mouse costume on, while everyone was talking and eating the door bell rang, I walked towards the door, Ellie hanging on my hip, I opened the to see Steven holding hands with a red head,

Steven-"happy birthday bud..."

He took Ellie into his arms hugging him tightly, He gave me a gift, I walked away and placed it with the rest of the gifts, soon I saw Steven and his little girlfriend walked out into the garden where everything was, my mom came up to me placing her hand around my waist,

Mom-"where's Ellie?"

You-"with Steven"

I walked away picking up some used plates that were laying around the table, my mom followed right behind me,

Mom-"who's that?"

I went over to the bin throwing the trash away, once again my mom behind me,

Mom-"well.."

You-"I don't know mom why don't you ask him?"

Everyone had already ate so I thought it was about time we cut the cake, I made my way to Steven, His little girlfriend was holding Ellie and he was crying,

Steven-"it's okay bud...she's a friend...don't cry"

As a mother seeing someone make my baby cried made my blood boil, I walked towards them,

You-"hi baby"

He put his arms out so I could take him, I took him placing my hand on his head and my other hand on his bum, his head against my chest, as soon as I began rocking him his sobs dialed down,

You-"we're about to cut the cake"
