How can you ignore the signs?
Of frightened sleepless eyes,
Her hands shaking with anger,
It just becomes so hopeless,
Why can't she seem to move on.
How can you ignore the signs?
New scars are slowly appearing,
Her smile is starting to disappear,
It doesn't make sense to anyone,
Why is her life full of darkness.
How can you ignore the signs?
Voice husky from the screaming,
Her dreams becoming nightmares,
It haunts her day and night,
Why can't she get some sleep.
How can you ignore the signs?
Of misplaced words and sighs,
Her behavior is out of control,
It won't be long until goodbye,
Why does she feel this way.
How can you ignore the signs?
Of a life that's falling apart,
Her desperation you can see,
It doesn't seem to matter though,
Why is nobody helping her.
How can you ignore the signs?
Never were the words said,
Her torment growing worse,
It never had to be this way,
Why did it have to go this far.
How can you ignore the signs?
Of her final silent tears,
Her mind is made up this time,
It won't be long before she's found,
Why did she have to die alone...
