Kate's POV
As soon as I entered the company building, busy people welcomed me. And it made me wonder, why?
"Good morning Miss Kate." a group of employees greeted me with a bow. Tumango lang ako at ngumiti and then I headed to the elevator.
To be exact, I headed to the private elevator. Ang elevator kung saan mga executives lang ang pwedeng gumamit.
*Ting!*
Tunog ng elevator. Meaning, I am already on the floor where my office is located.
"Good morning, Miss Kate." Janna greeted me habang nagba bow nang makalabas na ako sa elevator. I just smiled at her and nodded.
Medyo balisa rin siya na parang busy or excited na kinakabahan or something.
"Are you okay? What's the matter? You seem to be unease." I asked her.
Narinig ko muna ang pagbuntong - hininga niya before she answered me.
"Miss Kate, on of the secretaries of the two bosses announced that an important person is coming today." Sagot niya kaya napa isip ako.
Important person?
Who could it be?
Why weren't I informed?
"Really? I haven't heard that yet. So, that's the reason why everyone outside were busy, huh?" sagot ko.
Tumango naman siya.
"Opo. And they said po that the two bosses will be coming here to welcome him." She added.
So Dad and Papa will be here.
Wait..
Could it be Ian? Sabi kasi ni Janna, 'him'. Meaning, he's a he.
But Ian said na baka ma postpone ang paglipat niya and he even said na may inaasikaso pa siya. And he didn't text me about that. Siguro naman he will inform me kung lilipat na siya, diba?
"Okay. Are the board members also coming?" tanong ko na naman. Obvious naman diba? I don't know even a single thing. As in, I am totally clueless as to what is really happening here.
"Hindi naman po nasabi but I guess hindi po. If I remembered it right po kasi, Madam Liz Hidalgo tried to set an appointment with you last week pero hindi po naisingit because you had an important meeting doon sa Singaporean investors out of town kaya ipina schedule niya nalang po two weeks after which will be next week or next next week. Ang sabi daw po kasi ng secretary niya, Madam Hidalgo isn't available this week because of an important seminar abroad na kung saan mag - aattend ang mga board members from different companies." Mahabang explanation ni Janna at tumango lang ako.
"Okay, then. What time will they be arriving?" tanong ko ulit while going inside my office.
