“I do. No, I do...” Appalled at myself, I stammered. This was an unrehearsed question. Probably because it was a no brainer. I was supposed to love Jack's work, right?
“You don't sound too sure.”
Jack's hand was covering mine and it tightened in a fortifying squeeze. Emmajesty had warned of this. They wanted colorful interviews. By throwing me off guard, they sought to achieve that and possibly get more of an answer than I meant to give.
