JAMES' VIEW

Ginger pushed me into the room, I was shocked she could do that. When I stepped in the door, I was the center of attention... again. It's not like I felt embarrassed maybe a little grossed out at what I just saw. If I was human I'm sure my face would be green right now. Well we're here with the Social Studies teacher Ms. Nance I think was her name. She looked about in the 20's and stress had taken it's toll on her. I could tell that she was untrustworthy of new kids because of what the other kids have been doing. I seriously wanted to enjoy this class, but I couldn't until I got fresh blood.

"Ms. Hale take your seat. Hmm, seems like we have a new student in class here. Stand right here and tell us your name and where you came from, how old you are and your birthday then get a seat." I felt like making a haughty retort, at what she just said, but I paused.

Sighing I walked up there and said "My names James Leroy, I came from Columbus, Ohio; and I'm 18. And my birthday is April 21" but my eyes told a different story. When I was first changed I was just walking to my house from a party down the street. And then Bam! Out of no where this girl hits me and goes for my neck. I try to push her off lord did I try, but she just held me down and sucked the life out of me. Until some guy saw and yelled for someone to call 911. She ran and left me. I blacked out, but remember waking up finding myself at the house with her looking at me. I remember growling and throwing myself at her yelling "Why did you do it! Why?" I stopped then thinking I was dead, I then said slowly "Am I dead?".

She shook her head no and said "Well yes, your hearts not beating, but your alive. Your immortal." I stayed with her until I would be 22 and I killed her. She wasn't looking and I was so angry at something else she had done. Of course Jane thought I would be useful in the guard. And she was right, I had the power to control water, air, earth, and fire along with reading emotions and convincing people of things. I first started with fire, I burned her until all that was here was ashes. Then I called on air and earth to take the smell and ash away. My mind stopped replaying the memory and i found a seat no where near Ginger cause there was a couple of guys surrounding her desk so I couldn't sit by her at all....

When we got back to Language arts I sat back down in my seat when she randomly asked "How old are you really?" I knew it must have been a pain to ask. 

I replied "Huh, well I'm seriously 24. And you're 18?" I asked and she nodded..

I was about to ask her why she wanted to know, since we weren't friends, when Chloe showed up and said "Hey James, I'm having a party tomorrow night wanna come?"

"Sure," i replied and I glanced towards Ginger, she was looking the other way and I guess Chloe was trying to be nice to Ginger, and give me hell.

"Ginger you can come to if you want"

Ginger just looked my way and I shook my head, and she smiled and said "Sure thing Chloe." Chloe smiled and walked off. I just sat there growling at Ginger and she looked like she won the lottery. Class started, we went to lunch, I sat by myself then Chloe walked by and sat down with me and her posse came also. Ginger, Luke and Sawyer sat down laughing, but keeping all ears towards me.

"Excuse me" I said to Chloe, cutting off what she was saying. I walked out of the cafeteria and I looked back to see Sawyer coming from his table. I found a piece of paper and pen and wrote a quick note that went like this.

Dear Were's,

It seems you have lost again, I'll be back in time for 6th period. Too Thirsty to ignore :)

I ran to a door and I got outside, of course I was going to hunt here, those Were's are crazy to think not. I soon went to an ally and found someone taking out trash from a restaurant. It was called OC Cafe, i jumped the poor man and broke his neck. I managed to suck him dry, then I smelled Were's close by. I grinned, and I ran, only smart thing to do. I was still in Centertown and I was back at Oral Highschool. Ha ha, ya I found out the name of the high school in this sleepy town. When I got back Ginger saw me first and she marched over to me and punched my face, then shoved her knee in my stomach. "Ouch" I thought and winced. No more pain for her today, and we were in the hallway and Luke was rushing to the scene, where was the monitors right about now? Ginger I knew felt hurt, mad, sickened. She must have read my note. She kept beating me and I let her. I felt sore and bruised all over. Luke did nothing to stop her either, Sawyer finally got there and tore Ginger off of me.

"Thanks man," I started to say, but then he punched my face and I heard my nose break. Blood oozed out and my hand reached up there eaisly and held the bone in place. It was already healing along with the other injuries I had.

"You didn't have to kill mark, leech" he hissed and I was bent over with my hands on my knee's. Sawyer turned and I punched Ginger right in the face to go along with her beating me and Sawyer wiped back around and got me to the ground. I struggled, but then I stopped when I saw what he was holding. A 1 foot long wooden stake right above my heart.

"Finish me, dog it won't make a difference, I've already died before." I snarled, but he didn't move a muscle. The stake hovered over my heart before he decided to just cut my cheek. He got off of me to check if Ginger was all right, I ignored them and walked away. High school was dangerous.....
