Chapter 11

LISA'S POV:

Lauren is in the hospital for a month right now and she never talks to us. One because she is most of the times passed out because of the pills and two because she hates the fact that she's in the hospital and when Lauren is sad or something is bothering her she never talks. Today Christina and I are going to visit her and try to talk with her. I just want Lauren back home with us but we have to wait a whole month till she's allowed to go back. The doctors told us that she's healing really slow and she's really weak and Lauren hates it. She always tries to stay strong and be there for us but when she heard she isn't strong enough to even go home she was really disappointend. Christina and I finally arrived at the hospital and we looked at each other.

Just don't mention home, Dani or Mom and try to cheer her up- Christina said and I nodded. We walked to Lauren's room and saw she was awake reading a book.

Hey Lo- I said and she looked at us and smiled

Hey- She said and put her book away.

How are you?- Christina asked

I'm better- She said and we smiled

So how are you guys?- She asked

We're ok- I said and she sighed

I miss you guys- She said and we smiled and sat down next to her and I grabbed her hand

Don't worry Lo before you know it you're back home- Christina said and Lauren smiled and nodded.

The doctor did some tests in the morning and told me I'm healing a little faster than last week- She said and we smiled

That's great to hear- I said and she smiled and nodded

Guys..........can you sing for me?- She asked. Christina and I used to sing for Lauren to calm her down when she had a break down or was sad back in the days Dani and Mom beat us really bad. We smiled and nodded and sang a couple songs for her and after a while she fell asleep holding our hands. We smiled and kissed her forhead. We spend the rest of the visiting hour just on our phone and when Lauren woke up we just talked about random stuff. After a hour a nurse walked in holding Lauren's pills

Visting hour is over- She said and we nodded.

We need to go Lo but we'll try and come tommorow- I said and she nodded and we hugged her and walked our the hospital.

Do you think Dani and Mom will turn normal again?- I asked and Christina sighed and looked at me

I don't even know what normal is anymore- Christina said and we laughed.

I just hope we'll be safe and sound- Christina said and I nodded.

But look, after Lauren is back home we need to go back to our our home because Lauren has school and we need to work- Christina said and I nodded sadly

Are Dani and Mom out the hospital by then?- I asked

I don't know but Lauren will be our responsibillity- She said and I nodded.

We need to find a better payed job but also a job where we don't have to work till late so we can be with Lauren- She added and I nodded again. We drove home and looked for jobs in our hometown and Christina found a job where she is a schoolnurse and I found a job at a coffeejob. We both get payed well and don't have to work till late which is great. We signed in and got a mail saying we are hired!

Well this is the start of something new- Christina said and I nodded smiling. We hugged each other and spend the rest of the day just chilling.
