It’s a dream come true for some lucky fans of the popular South Korean girl group 4minute. MTV’s “4minute’s Friend Day” took applications from non-celebrities who wanted to become friends with the members of 4minute. The lucky few who were chosen were able to do fun activities with the music stars – Nam Ji Hyun, Heo Ga Yoon, Jeon Ji Yoon, Kim Hyun A and Kwon So Hyun. The most memorable “friend” participated in a special mini-concert in their honor.
The basic premise of the show is to have celebrities befriend regular people (non celebrities). With these new friends, 4minute will go on various missions such as trips, going to school, going shopping, going to a cafe and more. They will choose one friend that is most memorable and hold a mini concert with them on July 29th of 2009. A preview for this upcoming series was recently released. (Source - AllKpop)
