Prolouge

This is my first ever book that I've tried writing on Wattpad and I wrote it at a young age. Read at your own risk and discretion. It hasn't been fully edited yet and so bear with it.

Katey P.O.V

I sat in class listening to Mr. James talking about algebraic terms. I wasn't paying attention. I wish school was longer so I couldn't go home. Your possibly wondering why well my dad is a heavy drinker and when he's really drunk he is trying to hit me. I can't stand that he's always drinking.

"Miss Williams"

I wasn't paying attention while he called my name

" Miss Williams I'm talking to you !" Mr. James looked red in the face as he tried to get my attention.

I snapped out of my daydream realizing the class was staring at me.

"Ugh... sorry I wasn't paying attention you were saying" I lowered my head because of all the eyes staring at me.

He looked frustrated as he repeated himself " I said to solve the question"

I stared at the board only for a second before answering. Most of the time that's how the day went.

I walked out of the school pulling down my Tom on my head. I normally walked home by myself since I didn't have friends my dad I moved around a lot. I didn't pay attention when I bumped into a firm chest I almost fell over when someone's arm caught me. My Tom shifted and some of my hair fell from under it.

"I-I" I began stuttering

"Sorry, didn't see you there" he looked down at me trying he seemed to have an accent. I looked up into his chocolate colored eyes.

He resembled a guy I saw at school. I continued to hold onto my hand. I couldn't find the words to say anything I just continued to stare. For a minute he looked at me as if I was from another planet. He released my hand and took a few steps back. As his hands left mine I walked off then began running.
