Chapter 42 True motives

Charles’s POV

Pagkatapos kung ihatid si Lex sa bahay nila bumalik agad ako ng hotel para kunin ang gamit ko at uuwi na ako sa condo ko. Naasar ako sa sarili ko kung bakit inaway away ko pa si Lex. Hindi naman niya kasalanan ang lahat.

Andami kasing lumapit sa akin kanina nagtatanong regarding engagement party. Di pa naman ako nag po-propose kay Lex kaya papaanong magkakaroon ng engagement party.

Nagsimula na akong mag ligpit ng gamit ko. Hindi ako pupunta sa party na yan bukas. Wala akong pakialam kung mapahiya sila.

“Hi Andrew”.

“What are you doing here Haley? And why are you wearing that dress?”.

“I thought you bought it for me. Thank you”. Niyakap ako ni Haley

Dahan dahan kong tinanggal ang pagkakayap sa akin ni Haley.

“oh did you just said you’re name?”. di ko alam na may mapupulot pala akong punch lines kay Mitch at Lex. “I’ve got to go”. Pinulot ko na yung mga gamit ko. ‘”by the way your brother visited me the other day. And told me about his undying love for me. Ngayon alam ko nakung kanino nagmana kapatid mo”.

“what’s this?”. Tiningnan ko meron itong dalawa lines. “oh your pregnant. Congrats”.

“I’m pregnant and you’re the father”. Napalingon ako sa kinaroroonan ni Haley

“what? That’s not possible”.

“it’s possible my dear since I am already pregnant”.

“I was drunk that night”.

“Yep! And I can still remember what we did that night”.

“Stop! I don’t wanna hear it. I can support the kid financially”. 

“you know I don’t need money. What I need is you”. She started kissing my face and I don’t move an inch. “do you really like it the hard way then”. Hinawakan niya abs ko. Bigla akong naningas sa kinatatayuan ko.
