Vernon's POV
We all just stood there shocked at Colin, he never and I mean never said a word or went against Mike. To be honest I am sure well damn proud of him. It was about to Time my best friend said something.
I looked at everyone who was still in shock, so I took advantage of this opportunity and went to the our bus driver and told him to stop by at a fast food place, thinking the little girl... Alana might be hungry. He nodded and saw a McDonalds right up ahead.
"Okay guys we are stopping at McDonalds if you need anything" I said to everyone who snapped out of their little state of shock and smiled.
I looked at Mike who looked mad at me, so I glared at him. Who the hell does he think he is?
"Our manager" Said our other running back, Jarryd Hayne.
"I said that out loud?" He chuckled nodding his head. Then stopped and looked like he was trying to say something but couldn't.
"What's up in your mind bro?" Tapping his head which he playfully slapped off.
"Who was that little girl?" Asking curiously.
"Her name is Alana, somehow she got on the bus and her home is back at home game" Looking though a little crack that went to the back of the bus where Colin had her on his lap and was on his laptop.
"Wow, she's only four and she is trapped with a whole football team."
"Yah I know and plus she knows everything about us."
"Oh god you should have seen Reggie's face when she said his name" Laughing at Reggie who was playfully glaring.
"Oh shut up Haynes I was just shocked she knew, I mean who wouldn't she's only four." Nodding his was to Alana.
We all looked at her, and I think she noticed because she looked up and waved to us. Which we gladly returned.
"She's cute!" Reggie said admiring Alana who's eyes were now glued to the laptop screen.
"Let's go" Haynes said walking towards Alana and Colin.
We all approached them and they both looked up at us.
"Hi!" Alana smiled brightly at us.
"What's up homegirl" Reggie highfiving her, while me, Haynes and Colin glared at him.
"What?" Noticing our glares.
"Dude she's four" I said slapping the back of his head, which made Alana giggle. Colin smiled down at her when she did then it was replaced by a blank stare at the laptop.
"What are you doing?" Sitting in front of him.
"I am emailing her mom" furiously typing.
After a couple minutes, Colin fist bounded and yelled.
"Her mom answered!" We all surrounded the laptop.
M: monika ( her mom)
C: Colin
C: Hello is this Monika Carter, I am Colin kaepernick and I found your daughter.
M: Oh my gosh! Is she okay? How did she find you? Or how did you find her.
C: Mrs.Carter your daughter is fine, but she is a bus with me and my teammates, about half way to another state.
M: Oh my gosh!
C: we were wondering if you fly out and get her or we could come bring he back.
