30. Eddie

Flashback

"Baby , do you have to go?" I hug Blake as he was getting ready to go out with DJ

"Baby girl its DJ's birthday plus you can come with me, please come" Blake kisses my forehead

"Blake I'm not ready to go out in the public ye-"

"Yeah whatever.." He walks away

"What's your problem?" I walk after him

"You always use that as a damn excuse Loren!" He yells

"Blake my mom-"

"I don't want to hear it again! Bye Loren" He says grabbing his keys

"You promised my mom you'd take care-" I didn't get to finish since he slammed the door and left me

I fall to the ground and cry. Chaney runs to me and sits in front of me

"I don't think your daddy loves me anymore" I cry and look at him

He cries and I hug him

"Let's go" I say standing up and making my way upstairs to change into some workout clothes

After changing I grab Chaney's leash and I take him for a run with me . It was night time and there was rarely anyone out at night in Blake's neighborhood

"Crash get back here boy" I hear a guy with a British accent and a little puppy runs to me and Chaney , Chaney surprisingly didn't bark at the dog.

"Hello there cutie" I say petting the little German Shepard

"Hello , I'm so sorry" The man walks up to us and picks up the puppy

"No problem, he's adorable" I smile at the dog

"Thank you ma'am , I'm Eddie" he puts out his hand

"I'm Loren and this is Chaney" I shake his hand

"Hello Chaney , its very nice to meet you Loren" He smiles at me

"Its nice to meet you too Eddie" I smile back at him

He blushes and I chuckle

"Im so sor-" He tries apologizing

"Don't apologize , that was pretty cute"

"If you aren't busy can I take you out sometime?"

"Um I am actually seeing someone but I'm sure he wouldn't mind us being friends, you and him will probably get along" I smile and think of Blake, I frown making Eddie question if he had done something

"I'm sorry did I do something wrong?" He walks closer to me and wipes my tear away

"No no , of course not. It's just me and my boyfriend , we haven't been getting along and I just have a lot on my mind" I say as me and Eddie start walking back to Blake's house

"I'm sorry about that Loren but I'm sure things will get better, you're a very beautiful woman and you deserve the best"

"Thank you.. well this is me" I stop in front of Blake's house

"Blake Griffin's house , he's the one you're dating?"

"Yes , well I'm gonna take Chaney inside. It was nice talking to you" I say walking away

"Loren can I have your number?" He asks and I turn around "Never- I'm sorry i shouldn't have asked you that"

"Its okay , here hand me your phone" I smile and he hands me his phone

"There you go , I'm under Lo London" I hand it back to him

"Thank you , I'll talk to you later" He hugs me and I hug him back

"Bye" I wave at him and walk back into the house

4:00am

I stayed up until 4 and Blake still didn't come back , I called DeAndre and he told me Blake didn't show up at all , he lied to me. After crying on the phone with DeAndre he told me he'll go out and look for him and told me to rest. I cried and soon went into deep sleep .

I woke up to a loud knock on the front door , I grabbed my robe and went downstairs to open it , it was DJ.

"Hey , I couldn't find him , he's not answering my calls, I'm so-"

"Deej it's fine , I.. I don't know what I'm gonna do?" I say letting him in

"He's been acting so weird lately" DJ says shaking his head

"I think it's all my fault Deej" I cry

"Loren don't"

"Hah Blake you're so-" Blake walks in with Ciara wrapped around in his arms

"Ew what is this trash still doing here?" Ciara blurs

"Blake what the fuck man?!" DJ yells at Blake

"Dude calm-" He gets cut off my DJs fist

"Loren lets go, you're not staying here with this asshole"

And that was it. Blake and I were OVER.

Now...

"Blake stop following me!" I say putting my shoes on

"No you're not leaving me , Loren please don't-" He starts crying

"You know what? You can go fuck yourself! I never want to see you ever again!" I yell in his face

"Loren you don't mean that"

"I do Blake , I can't stand looking at you. Look just leave me alone okay" I walk away and pack my last bag

"Please don't do this" He falls to his knees

It hurt seeing him like that but he broke a promise to my mother and I'm never gonna forgive him for that

"Bye Blake, my friend is here" I say reading a text message

"Loren.. Please" I walk up to him and kiss his forehead

"I love you Blake Griffin" I walk away and grab my bags and leave him like he left me that night , the only thing was I wasn't coming back.
