Ashton:

It was early morning and you couldn't sleep. Both you and Ashton had the day off, and you were really looking forward to sleeping in, but your brain had other ideas. You had woken up in your boyfriend's arms, with him still sound asleep. When you looked at the clock, you let out a soft groan when you saw the time. 5:47. After lying in bed for 10 more minutes, you figured you weren't going to fall back asleep. You carefully slipped away from Ashton's arms and out of bed. Not in the mood to put your contacts in, you just put on your glasses and went downstairs, careful to not make any noise that would wake Ashton. You made yourself some cereal and a cup of coffee and sat on the couch, turning on the TV to see the early news. When the news was over, you cleaned up the kitchen a little bit and straightened the living room. You thought it would be nice to make breakfast for Ashton, so that's exactly what you did. You pulled out the recipe for pancakes and started mixing the batter. When they were done, you brought them up to your room on a small tray, only to see Ashton still asleep. You set the tray on the bedside table and crouched down next to him. You gently placed your hand on his cheek and kissed his forehead. "Ash baby, I made you some breakfast. Wake up," you said. He stirred and groaned, not wanting to wake up. You smirked and pressed a kiss to his lips, knowing that would wake him up. "Okay, I'm up, I'm up," he said while opening his gorgeous eyes and sitting up. "You made panca-" he cut himself off, and just stared at you. "What's wrong? You don't want them?" you questioned, wondering why your boyfriend was looking at you like that. "No, no. I do. It's just...I didn't know you wore glasses," he said. Immediately you blushed, forgetting that you even had them on. You always made sure that you had your contacts in when you were around Ashton, just so he would never have to see you in your glasses. "Oh. Um yeah. I do," you said, looking at your lap, embarrassed. As soon as Ashton saw this, he got out of bed and went over to the dresser. When he came back, you realized he had put his glasses on. He sat on the bed next to you and placed his finger under your chin, lifting your face and forcing you to meet his gaze. "You don't need to be embarrassed sweetheart. I wear them too," he said. Ashton placed a sweet kiss on your lips and then said, "Besides, I think they're cute."

Calum:

You woke up at the early hour of 7 am to your alarm going off to wake you for work. Hitting the snooze button, you felt a pounding in your head that was so intense it made you dizzy. Groaning, you sat up, only to feel a tickle in your throat causing you to cough loudly. "Oh, how lovely," you said to yourself with a raspy voice. Great, not only is your head pounding, but you sound like a man. There's no way you could go into work today. You put on your glasses that were sitting on your nightstand and searched for your phone. After locating it, you called your boss, telling her that you couldn't come to work today. She was very kind about it, and told you to rest up so you could be back in the office soon. After hanging up the phone, you wrapped yourself in a blanket and slowly made your way down to the kitchen. You made yourself a cup of tea, hoping it will soothe the burning in your throat, took a couple painkillers for your head, and sat down on the couch, pulling another blanket over your legs. When you finished your tea, your throat didn't really feel much better, so you figured maybe you just had to sleep it off. Cuddling further into the couch and taking off your glasses, you drifted off to sleep. A few hours later, you woke up to your phone ringing loudly. Without even bothering to open your eyes, you felt around for your phone and answered it. "Hello?" you said, voice still very raspy. "Y/N? Are you okay?" It was your boyfriend, Calum. "I had to call off work today. My head may or may not explode and, as you can tell, my throat really hurts," you said into the phone, eyes still closed. "Well I was calling to see if you wanted to grab some lunch, but I'll just bring some soup over. How's that sound baby?" Calum asked you. You immediately smiled and said, "Thanks Cal, you're the best." You could practically hear the smirk in his voice. "I know. I'll be there in 20," he said before hanging up. You put your phone down and fell back asleep waiting for Calum. A little while later you woke up to your front door opening and him calling your name. You mentally thanked yourself for giving him a key so you didn't have to get up. "Y/N?" he called again. "On the couch," you choked out, your voice sounding worse than it did before. Calum walked around to the front of the couch and squatted in front of you, taking your face in his hands and pressing a kiss to your forehead. "Hey baby, how're you feeling?" He asked in a hushed voice, so he didn't make your headache worse. "Not that great," you replied. "I've got some soup in the kitchen if you want it," he said, kissing your head again. You nodded, and Calum picked you up bridal style and carried you to the kitchen, setting you down on the counter. Realizing you didn't have your glasses on, you sighed loudly. "What's wrong baby girl?" Calum asked. "Cal, I can't see anything. Can you get my glasses off the coffee table by the couch?" you asked with your raspy voice. "What? You wear glasses?" Calum asked you. You didn't realize he didn't know. "Yeah, because I have the eyes of a 70 year old woman. Can you bring me them please?" you asked him, pulling the puppy dog face. "How come I've never seen you wear them before?" he asked as he walked over to the table and grabbed your glasses. You shrugged in response. "I usually wear contacts. I don't really like my glasses that much," you said to him. He walked in front of you and put them on himself, crossing his eyes and pulling a silly face. You giggled at your boyfriend. "Damn Y/N, you really can't see," he said, pulling the glasses off his face. "No shit Sherlock," you said, taking them out of his hand and putting them on your face, finally being able to see him clearly. He wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your lips softly. "My little old lady," he said with a smile before kissing you again.
