Resisting Fate 2

"W-what?"Jay asked, shock clear in his voice. Austin held me tighter to him as Jay stared at me hurt.

"I'm her boyfriend"Austin repeated as I stared down at the floor.

"How did this happen"Jay demanded, I rolled my eyes at him and brought my head back up and stared at him in the eye.

"It was a couple of weeks after I was here for the summer, I was hanging out with Austin and Chelsea, when she ran off saying Joe was calling her"I laughed softly "Then the next moment I know, Austin here was asking me on a date"I blushed remembering the day, he was so shy and nervous. I smiled up and Austin who kissed me on my nose.

"So, did you tell him at all about Fin?"Jay asked, I sighed and looked back at him.

"Yes, I did him all about my relationship with Fin"I said in a flat tone. He grumbled under his breath and Austin sighed.

"I'll talk you later Sammy, You and your friend have some catching up to do"He smiled down at me "I'll pick you up at seven for our date"He kissed me lightly on the lips and walked away. I smiled faintly before turning to Jay who looked slightly angry and..Jealous?

"Why him?" He asked, his voice bitter and annoyed. I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.

"You got a problem with it Jay?"I asked, slightly amused. He frowned at before stepping closer once again.

"I got a big problem with it"His breath hit my skin, sending shivers down my spine. "I'm not joking by the way, by the end of this year, I Will be your boyfriend"With that he pecked my lips and walked away, leaving me standing there, speechless.

"Oh crap"I whispered. The game is back on.

"What!"Chelsea yelled, I rolled my eyes and sucked on my vanilla ice cream.

"He said by the end of the year he'll be my boyfriend, then he kissed me and left"I repeated, licking my spoon as Chelsea gaped at me.

"You gotta tell Aus-"I cut her off by flicking a piece of ice cream at her.

"No way! He will properly go mad! I can't let that happen Chels'. I'll deal with it on my own."I promised her, in that moment the door opened and we turned our heads to see Lucy.

"Hey Luce"We greeted, she nodded and went into her room. Lucy was different from Hannah, she didn't have the fiery red hair we were used to, she had light blonde hair and blue eyes, she was a shy girl and sweet but apparently when your on the bad side of her, you'll see no mercy.

"Hello"She came back in with her hair in a pony tail and a long yellow dress on as she fell back on the arm chair "Have you seen that hot new guy?"She asked, my heart froze and I fought the urge to glare at her. Cut it out! I yelled at my emotions, Chelsea sent me a knowing grin and sat back in her chair.

"Sam has"She sung, I spun to glare at her as Lucy frowned slightly.

"You have?"She questioned. I groaned and turned back to her.

"He used to go to my old school"I said, annoyance in my voice.

"They were very close, practically best friends"Chelsea lied, I hit her arm and glared at her. I sighed and looked at Lucy who was grinning at me.

"Would you introduce me to him"She asked, her eyes wide with innocence. I smiled weakly at her and nodded as my heart was aching with jealousy and my stomach tightening. No Sam! You have Austin, do not let Jay win!. I let out a shaky sigh and stood up.

"I got to..um..get ready for my date with Austin"I smiled at them and quickly rushed to my room and slammed my door closed.

"You won't win Jay"I whispered into my room. "I promise you that"

I sighed as my hair was curled down my shoulders, I was wearing a light blue dress with white flats, wearing eyeliner and some lip gloss.

"Sam! Austin is here"Chelsea yelled, I sighed as the nerves hit my stomach and a pinch of disappointment that it isn't Jay. I clenched my teeth and ignored the disappointment and walked out my room smiling.

"Hey Sa- Wow"Austin gasped, I blushed as he hugged me, pecking my lips.

"You look amazing"He whispered, I smiled brightly at him and kissed him fully on the lips.

"You look even more amazing"I whispered to him as we broke apart, he did. He was wearing black trousers and a grey shirt, which clung to him showing his abs. I bit my lip as he took my hand.

"Bring her back before 11"Chelsea said in her motherly tone. I rolled my eyes and blushed from embrassment. Every single freaking time! Austin laughed and led me out the door.

"I will"He shouted and closed the door, I sighed in bliss as we walked to the date, for some odd reason I could feel eyes on us although the hall way was empty..

Jay's P.O.V

I watched as they walked gracefully down the stairs and quickly followed them. I know this sounds stalkerish but I've waited the whole of summer for same and I will not wait for her to dump that douche of a boyfriend on his ass.

"So, how did you meet your friend then"He asked, as they entered a restaurant. I gulped and grabbed a menu hiding my face from them as the space between us got smaller.

"Jay?"Sam asked, a smile quirked at my lips at her obliviousness.

"Yeah. Him"He spat, I cringed as they got a table and I could no longer hear there conversation. I eyed the room and quickly grabbed the nearest table to them and kept the menu in front of me.

"...Well I met him on the second day of the year, the last year of school and well I did't get close to him till..."Sam trailed off and I could picture her frowning right now. Till When!?!

Sam's P.O.V

I frowned as I tried to remember getting close to him.

"Well, I didn't get exactly close to him. All we did was ki-"I cut myself off quickly as Austin raised an eyebrow at me.

"Ki- what?"He asked, I fought the blush as I remembered all those kisses.

"All we did was kid around, like one time I threw sea weed in his face, then another he threw blue paint over me, making me a smurf colour"I grinned at the memory, he frowned at me.

"Kid around?"He asked, I smiled slyly at him as I played with my thumbs.

"Kid around, messing around"He rolled his eyes at me and held my hands.

"You are adorable"I blushed and he chuckled, kissing my lips softly but there were no sparks like Jay's. I fought the urge to slap myself as Austin pulled away with a goofy grin, nothing like Jay's. I grinded my teeth at the voice, even though I knew it was right, Jay's grins made me melt, whilst Austin's grin's made me feel nothing.

"So what would you like for dinner"The waiter asked, I blushed as I realised he watched us kiss, Austin laughed at me as he ordered our food. I sighed happily and looked around the room, catching some familiar eyes.

Jay?

I nearly smirked at him as Austin played with my hands. I looked back to Austin then back to Jay then back to Austin. Oh Jay, the game is on. I pulled Austin over the table and kissed him passionatly, he was surprised at first then responded eagerly. I could hear a faint growl and I smiled into the kiss.

Jay, you should know, I'm not a girl to mess with.

Sammy Wammy, is stepping up her game! By using Austin...which isn't that nice...since Austin represents my crush, so that's why I'm favouring him by this------------------------------------------ much. But I'm still Team Jay!
