Chapter 17-- announcing

"okay." she whispered softly into the soothing calm air as the clock read 2am.

"sleep."

morning

after yesterday, decisions were made and we are going to have this baby together.
she does not know how long she has been pregnant for, but her appointment is in a matter of days.

and eventually- we both thought about how noticeable its going to be as she gets bigger.
so today is the day,

we are telling everybody.
we both walked down the stairs,

hands interlocked with one another.
i was so nervous that i felt like i was going to be sick-
the many thoughts of how our friends were going to react flooded my mind-
i was so scared; and i can imagine aria was too because she was shaky and quiet all this morning

we reached the bottom of the stairs, and i took a deep breath.
i looked at aria and she was staring up at me with her big brown eyes that shined because of the ceiling light.
her face screamed concern but her eyes spoke differently- with a more calming manner and a more nervous look than ive seen before

"i know."
i kissed her forehead gently and began to walk towards everyone who was already gathered in the living room like always.

i walked towards one of the couches and shared a fake smile amongst everyone.
"hey guys"

"hey Peter!" Preston was the first one to talk as always,
but everyone just pretty much nodded a "what's up"

i looked over at aria and her head was held down;
i grabbed her hand and held her close to me

"what's wrong?" Jerome asked.
"yeah, you two seem so distraught and so weird" vikk mumbled.

i was about to speak but it seems that aria couldn't handle the pain of keeping a secret any longer.

she rubbed her small tummy and she whispered softly

"i'm pregnant."

when she said those two words, my stomach sank all over again. it's like i hadn't known she was pregnant, but everything seems so surreal.

i'm going to be a dad to a beautiful baby boy or girl.
and i'm so excited- i would give the world to my child and to the love of my life, 

aria means everything to me and i'm sure as hell this baby is going to mean the world to me as well.

i snapped out of my thoughts and everyone's reactions were so heartwarming and so positive. it was great knowing that my friends, well

our friends- were so supportive of this pregnancy.

"name it after meeeee!" mitch screamed across the room.

aria and i bursted out laughing at the thought of a little mitchell running around the house. 

"thanks guys" i mumbled.
"this means a lot for both aria and i. we thought you all would totally react differently."

"don't worry about it, guys. you two are our friends." lachlan said.

everything was so perfect at our  house,
but let's see how our appointment goes..

im not going to spoil anything though 

anyway im sorry for also being away so long but ive been sooooooo busy, but i finally got a laptop so yay more stories!! (and no-lifing on league xD)

also, who has started school? i start school on monday. senior year. :(

i feel like i'll have the worst case of senioritis hahaha
