14. Lisa The Bitch and Meg The "Savior"

// Castiel's POV

"I'm not a perfect person
There's many thing I wish I didn't do

But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you

That I just want you to know..."

Castiel's eyes fluttered open, wondering where the singing was coming from.

He did his best to ignore it, but he could never ignore a serenade, no matter who it was for. And the voice was familiar.

Castiel removed the blankets and got out of bed, scratching his head. He waddled over to the window and slowly peeked through the curtain. And he practically almost past out when he saw Dean standing down there looking up at Cas' window strumming his guitar.

Castiel opened the window doors and stepped outside onto the balcony to watch him bet--

"HOLY SHIT!" He heard someone yell as they fell from Cas' balcony.

"I GOT YOU!" Sam yelled and caught Gabriel in his arms. "THOSE ARE FROM DEAN!" And they ran away.

There was an awkward silence. Dean had stopped playing and his face was beet red. Castiel glanced down at the floor of the balcony where there was a bouquet of roses lay. And Dean continued singing.

"I've found a reason for me

To change who I used to be

A reason to start over new

And the reason is you."

Castiel picked up the roses and watched as Dean played his guitar, smiling widely up at Cas.

"I'm sorry that I hurt you

It's something I must live with everyday
And all the pain I put you through

I wish I could take it all away

And be the one who catches all your tears
That's why I need you to hear..."

Castiel smiled to himself but did his best to remember why he was angry with Dean in the first place.

...why was he angry with him? Apart from him finding Dean and Lisa together...and that wasn't Dean's fault...Lisa was clearly there to separate them...but why was he angry with Dean before? Because he said kisses on the cheek were the same and as meaningless as kisses on the lips? That was something that pissed Cas off. It made him think that Dean felt nothing for Cas. But with what Dean was doing now? Serenading him...
That argument seemed like the stupidest this to fuss over.

But Castiel couldn't show Dean he was easy to win over.
But Castiel hadn't given Dean a proper hug in weeks! And at the moment, he didn't care what Abbadon or Crowley said. He leaned against the balcony and listened to Dean sing to him, his angry temporarily washing away.

Cas thought about jumping off the balcony and into Dean's arms but then he thought that Dean wouldn't catch him and decided against it. Instead, he just stood there and listened, falling more in love with Dean. He was slowly forgiving everything that had happened between them,
