"Do I put the flower in my hair or do I not?" I thought as I was getting ready for school.

I had just applied my everyday makeup which consists of a dab of concealer, a touch of mascara, a slick coat of lip balm and some moisturiser to keep my skin looking young and fresh.

Most girls at school overdo their makeup. Giving their lashes six coats of mascara until they're as hard as plastic seems to be the new trend nowadays. To be honest I think it's pathetic. Mainly because I'm not the type who goes along with the fashion hype: I prefer my own clothes and style.

In the end I decided not to put the flower in my hair. I didn't want to make the impression that I was dressing up for Theo who may be the kidnapper I had initially thought of.

I ran downstairs, took an apple to eat on the way, slipped my feet into my school pumps and walked straight out of the house. I wondered where he was going to take me. If he was going to take me to the date-classic cinema, I was simply going to refuse. That's because IF he was going to take me to the cinema and put his arm around me like all men normally do, I'd feel absolutely uncomfortable despite the fact that I still had some feelings for him. I mean... I don't even know the geezer yet!

At this point, I was walking up to the school gates, putting my apple core in the bin as I was walking past it. A familiar face was gazing at me, giving a smile. As I drew closer and closer, I realised who it was - Theo.

"Hey Kasey!" Theo exclaimed, giving me a hug.

I was surprised that he actually gave me a hug. It was warm as well. I could also feel his heart beating fairly fast. He was a sweet, genuine guy. Great. He's given me yet another reason to love him more.

"Hey Theo, how's it going?" I said, smiling like I'd just been given another pair of Doctor Martens (yes, I do love my Doctor Martens!)

"Yeah, not bad thanks you?"

"Good. Yeah I'm not that bad either"

"Great! So looking forward to after school?"

"Well to tell you the truth... I'm petrified!"

"Oh... how comes?"

"Let's just say that I'm letting a stranger take me to an unknown place!"

"Haha! Hey! I'm not exactly a stranger as I have known you for one day. Oh don't you worry... the unknown place is well known."

"Thank the Lord above for that ... and don't tell Bethany because I haven't told her."

"Don't worry. What stay between you and me shall stay between you and me." he reassured me, giving an irresistable smile.

Bethany then came over to greet us, going on about a fashion magazine that was in her hand. I felt so bad. This was the first time that I had ever hidden a secret from her. I decided that I would tell her just just at a later date. Hopefully she shouldn't over react. Okay she so will.

Our first lesson was History. I've always found History immensely fascinating. Our topic that day was on the Holocaust. It was such a heart-breaking topic. I rarely ever cry but when something really moves me, I tend to shed a few tears. As soon as I saw the picture of dead children, tears startes streaming down my face... along with my mascara. Theo noticed the dark tears and handed me a tissue from his blazer pocket.

"You okay?" he kindly asked.

"Yeah. Thanks for the tissue. I get emotional when things move me." I managed to reply.

"I figured that one out." he joked.

"What a cry baby!" muttered Melanie.

If there was one big bitch of the school, it would have to be Melanie. She was a jealous and heartless cow who bullies in her time since she clearly has nothing else to do in her boring and sad life.
