Michelle's POV:

We got home very late from Fronzeys. Joan was furious. She yelled at her kids for a long time. I decided to go home and see my parents. We watched a movie and then I went to bed. Singing with Nick today was fun. I felt like I was flying.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up to the slamming of a car door. I ran down the stairs to find my parents had left for work already. They usually don't leave until I'm awake. I sighed and locked all the doors and windows. During the day it's still a little scary. At night time I can't be home. I peeked out the kitchen window to find that Kylie and Nick weren't up yet. Who sleeps in until 9 am? I know I couldn't.

My bare feet slap against the cold wood as I continued to eat an apple heading to the piano. I opened the creaky door, revealing a piano my mother hasn't used in years. I plopped down, throwing my apple in the trash near by. I slid the cover up and ran my fingers over the keys. A beautiful melody filled the room. I started to push on the peddles as I played. The sound lively and vibrant. I played random keys for awhile before it turned into a song. Telephone by Lady Gaga. I rocked back and forth a tad bit as I enjoyed the sound. I started to sing.

Hello, hello baby you called?
I can't hear a thing
I have got no service
In the club, you see, see
Wha-Wha-What did you say,
Oh, you're breaking up on me
Sorry, I cannot hear you
I'm kinda busy.

K-kinda busy
K-kinda busy
Sorry, I cannot hear you, I'm kinda busy.

Just a second,
It's my favorite song they're gonna play
And I cannot text you with
A drink in my hand, eh
You should've made some plans with me,

I felt a slight breeze and shivered. My legs formed goose bumps. I only had on a purple over-sized t-shirt that came to mid thy. Wait a breeze? All the windows were locked and shut. I stopped playing and jumped up. I screamed as I turned around and saw Nick leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed. He had on a white v-neck, black pajama pants, and his hair was tousled. Even with bed hair he looked damn sexy.

"N-nick, h-how'd you get in here?" I asked sitting back down and pulling my shirt over my knees.

"Michelle, I've known you long enough to know that you keep your key in the plant next to the door." Nick said sitting down next to me.

"Why are you here?" I asked annoyed. He shrugged.

"I couldn't sleep."

"So you came to my house? And you shouldn't be sleeping at nine thirty." I muttered. He just flashed one of his cocky grins and set his hands on the piano. I scooted to the end of the bench so he could place his feet on the peddles. He started to play the song Down by Jay Sean. I stood up and grabbed my acoustic guitar and played along with him. He smiled and started to sing.

Baby are you down? [x5]
Down, down
Even if the sky is fallin' down
Down, down (oh)

You already know
Tonight is the night to let it go
Put on a show (show, show)
I wanna see how you lose control
So leave it behind, cause we have a night to get away (away, away)
So come on and fly with me
As we make our great escape (escape, escape)

I back Nick up with the 'oh's' and 'shows' stuff like that. We didn't sound the best, but hey, we just woke up. I was looking down at my fingers strumming the chords with I felt Nick's eyes fall on mine. I glanced up to find Nick was starring at me. I smiled and went back to watching my fingers. I had forgot how much I missed music. Up until last night I hadn't sang in three years. When I was thirteen I was in a talent show and got boo'ed off the stage. But I realize I really love it and should have never stopped.

Just let it be
Come on and bring your body next to me
I'll take you away (ay)
Turn this place into our private getaway
So leave it behind, cause we have a night to get away (away, away)
So come on and fly with me
As we make our great escape

He paused for a second, as did I, and sung the line together.

So why don't we run away-----

We both held the note for five seconds. After that we both played our instrumentsand sang loudly. Before yesterday I probably would have kicked Nick out of my house. But to be honest, I was still scared of being home alone.

No need to worry (oh)
Baby are you down [x5] (oh, the sky is falling down)
Down, down (oh, down)
Baby are you down [x5] (oh, the sky is falling down)
Down, down (oh, down)
Even if the sky is falling down
Oh, oh, the sky is falling down

We finished proudly. Nick cracked his knuckles as I set the guitar on the ground.

"You know if you keep doing that your knuckles will be huge." I said pointing to his fingers. He laughed and shook his head. Nick rubbed his neck and then his eyes, as if he was trying to figure something out.

"I didn't know you played guitar." He said, still seeming a bit preoccupied.

"I didn't know you played piano." I retorted. He looked up at me, his hand still on his neck.

"What's wrong with your neck?" I asked standing up and walking over to him.

"N-nothing." He stuttered as I placed my hands on his neck. I massaged it gently at first. He let out a long sigh and closed his eyes as I pressed harder. I sighed too and my breath rolled down his neck. He shivered. Okay, this is getting a little awkward... Idea! I controlled my laughter just thinking about my plan. I bent down and breathed on his ear. He made a little sound, almost a moan?

"Nick..." I whispered.

"M-M-Miche-" Nick stopped as I placed my lips on his ear. I was surprised how care free I was with Nick. With him I felt like I could do anything. For some reason his persence gave me a confidence boost. I kissed around his ear until I was at his neck and brought my lips back to his ear.

"You should leave." I said loudly. I burst into laughter as I ran out of the room and into mine. I heard Nick bolt after me and bang onto the door with his fist.

"Michelle! I wasn't going to bring that kind of stuff into our little game, but since the little stunt you just pulled...." He trailed off. I laughed loudly and pulled open my door. Nick was standing there starring at me.

"Is Kylie up?" I asked awkwardly.

"Nope." He said popping the 'p' and heading towards the living room.

"Where are you going?" I yelled.

"To watch some T.V." Nick replied.

"You're so weird!" I exclaimed from the doorway.

"Yes! But the world with out weird people is like ice cream with out sprinkles!" He yelled back. I shook my head, with a huge grin on my face and shut the door. I changed into my black sweats, pink tank top with black under armor underneath it, and my white pumas. I pulled my hair up into a pony tail, and clipped on my ipod shuffle to my tank top. Before I left my room I tied my shoes tightly. I made it to the front door. Nick was watching SpongeBob. I just rolled my eyes and laughed.

"You going for a run?" Nick asked. I nodded and slipped in my ear phones. I started out the house. The air was moist and the wind cold. I headed down town, pushing myself faster and faster as I listened to What Is Love By Play.

Today was going to be a great day, I already know it.
