DJ opened the passenger door of the car for Kath and Kath blankly entered his car. DJ then walked around the car and entered swiftly on the driver’s side.
Kath glanced outside as she noticed that more students were staring at DJ’s car. DJ also glanced outside and laughed. “Buti na lang tinted ang windows ng kotse para may privacy pa rin tayo.” He said aloud.
Kath stared at him and DJ stared back at her sweetly.
Then, DJ smiled wickedly. “Bakit ganyan ka makatingin, Ba? Para kang nastar-struck. Ganoon ba talaga ako ka-gwapo?” he asked seriously.
Kath continued staring at him, speechless. Suddenly, DJ leaned over to her side, his body moving closer towards her.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!” Kath screamed.
“Hoy.. Bakit?” DJ asked in surprise, as he grabbed her seatbelt and secured it for her.
“.............”
“Ina-ayos ko lang ang seatbelt mo.. Bakit ka ba sumisigaw?”
“............”
DJ laughed. “Ba, seryoso... Ano ba tingin mo gagawin ko sayo? Magdri-drive lang po ako. Driver lang po ako.” He said aloud.
“.............”
“Alam ko masyado akong gwapo para maging driver lang pero yan ang role ko para sayo today. Magdri-drive lang po ako. Wala po akong gagawing masama.”
“............”
“Disappointed ka ba?”
Kath’s eyes opened in shock. “Hoy, hindi ah!”
“Sa wakas, nagsalita ka... Akala ko kakausapin ko ang sarili ko buong maghapon.” DJ said as he drove the car out of the university’s parking lot.
“Mahilig ka talagang manggulat ng tao.” Kath complained.
DJ laughed.
Kath rolled her eyes. “Balang araw, makakaganti rin ako.”
“Hinahamon mo ako?”
“Oo.”
“Haha. Good luck, Ba... so, saan mo gustong kumain for lunch?”
Kath pouted and thought for a moment.
DJ glanced at her. “Huwag kang mag pout diyan”
“Ha?” Kath asked innocently.
“Nadidistract ako... Gusto mo ba mabangga tayo?”
Kath rolled her eyes. “Eyes on the road po! Huwag tingin ng tingin sa akin.”
“Matagal kasi tayong hindi nagkita. Namiss kita... sobra... Gusto ko lang busugin ang mga mata ko....”
Kath stared at him and smiled.
DJ sighed. “Ang daya mo talaga. Kanina mo pa ako tinititigan pero kailangan ko mag-drive.”
“Sorry ka.”
“Di bale.. Staring contest tayo mamaya.” DJ said aloud.
Kath giggled. Then, she noticed his skull bracelet.
“Suot mo pa rin?” she asked in amazement.
“Nangako ako diba?... O sige na, saan mo gusto?”
“Hmmm.. Gusto ko yung maraming dessert specialties!” Kath said in excitement.
DJ smiled. “Masusunod po, kamahalan.”
