Chaper Five

I stopped crying after a while. Derek was holding me close. I stood up. I saw Lilly was over by Kasey. Kasey walked off. I walked up to Lilly.

"Is he ok?"

I asked Lilly.

"He's getting better, he's just going to collect some food."

Lilly explained. I nodded. I walked over  to Nick. We sat down.

"I can tell you like CeCe"

I whispered.

"No I don't!"

He lied. I gave him a look.

"I like you"

He whispered. I backed away.

"What! I mean we can't date! Derek kissed me last night!"

I whisper yell. He sighed.

"Ok.. I like you and CeCe"

He admitted.

"Choose CeCe, tell her, I think she likes you too"

I whispered.

"Guys!"

Derek yelled. I ran over. There was a girl, she had guts all over her, and a guy, guts all over him. They started climbing up.

"Get behind me!"

Kasey yelled he was back form his trip. He stepped in front of us.

"Be careful Kasey!"

Lilly yelled. Nick and Derek got in front as well.

"Get the heck out of here you freaking idiots!"

Derek yelled, holding his rifle up.

The guy stabbed Derek in the thigh.

"Derek!"

I yelled. CeCe and Lilly pushed Kasey and Nick back. They helped me carry Derek over to the corner.

"Watch Derek.."

I whispered. Lilly knew what I was gonna do.

"Roxanna Nicole Herzano! Don't do it! You're gonna get it is in more danger!"

Lilly whispered. I stood up anyways. I ran over to to guy and girl then stopped. I looked over at CeCe. I mouthed to her. "Throw me the rope..."

He shook her head. I ran up and got it myself. I grabbed the guy and girl by the neck, I tied there arms together. I pushed them down to the ground.

"What the freak do you want!"

I yelled.

"YOU HURT MY BEST FRIEND BOYFRIEND.. IDK!! WHAT DO YOU WANT! HUH!?!?!?"

I yelled, tears rolling down my face slowly.

"ROXY!"

CeCe yelled. I ignored her.

"I'm Bella! And this is Jacob! We mean no harm, Jacob just lost his brother, he has been upset."

The girl explained.

"Yeah! I feel you but, I just lost my sister! But I'm not going around hurting people!"

Kasey said.

"I know! And I'm sorry!"

Jacob said.

"Let them join our group..."

Nick whispered. I shot a look at him.

"Are you trying to get us killed!"

I yelled. He ignored me and untied them.

"They seem harmless."

Nick whispered giving them there weapons back.

"This is ridiculous!"

I yelled,

"Roxanna.. Calm down.."

Derek said, able to stand up.
