Chapter 3 [They Meet Too]

[Neil's POV]

I was looking at the paintings hanging on the walls of the Larazabal Mansion. All paintings are pure family pictures. Nakita ko ang babaeng kasama nina Tita Lydia at Tito Edward sa painting. Malapit ang loob ko sa kanilang dalawa because they always pay me a visit whenever they come to Paris. The girl must be Jade, the only heiress of the Larazabal Clan.

I came here early because Mom told me so. Susunod na lang daw siya. I don't even know why I agreed to this freaking agreement. Maybe because  I know that my parents trust me. If you'll asked me if I have loved someone, I would say...Yes. It's also a hard decision for me to leave her in Paris but I need to. I know that she's in pain too, like me but there's no way that we could be together because of this freaking agreement.

Natigil ang pag-iisip ko ng marinig ko ang boses ni Tita Lydia. "O iho, you're here...where's Nerissa?"

"She's coming Tita, pinauna niya lang ako dito."

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting Iho, we'll just wait for Nerissa. Is it okay to you?"

"Yes, Tita." I said

"Make yourself comfortable here, I'll just go to your Tito Edward." 

"No problem, Tita." 

I again viewed the paintings on the wall. Jade face is so gentle, she seems so innocent. Siya kaya? Okay lang sa kaya sa kanya na ipakasal sa akin? Did she also leave someone because of this agreement? 

[Leiana's POV]

Nang umalis ako kanina sa school eh di ako dumiretso sa bahay, pumunta muna ako sa mall para bumili ng iba pang materials sa project ko. 6:30 daw darating sa bahay yung fiancée ko at ang mommy niya. As if I care! I'm only doing this for Dad dahil alam kong magagalit siya sakin if hindi ko sinunod ang gusto niya. 

5:30 na eh hindi pa ako nakakauwi. Naka 50 missed calls na ako galing kay dad at mom pero hindi ko pa rin sinasagot ang phone ko. I'm sure tinawagan na rin ni dad si Kuya Rommel. Sigurado akong hinahanap na ako ngayon ni Kuya Rommel, buti na nga lang napakiusapan ko si dad na hindi na ako kuhaan ng bodyguard eh. Nagtatago kasi ako ngayon dito sa C.R. ng mall. Hindi ko nga rin alam kung bakit ako nagkakaganito, one thing I'm sure of is kinakabahan ako...and I don't why.

Patuloy pa rin sa pagtawag sa akin si dad pero patuloy ko pa ding ini-ignore ang tawag niya. Maya-maya pa eh nag-decide na akong sagutin ang tawag ni dad.

"Yes? Dad?"

"Jade, umuwi kana! Neil's here. Rommel's been looking for you, saan ka ba nagsusuot ha? Please, Jade...wag mo akong ipapahiya!" sigaw sakin ni daddy sa phone

"Dad, calm down..please, I'm going home. Tsaka, hindi ko naman kayo ipapahiya eh..." I calmly said

"Make sure you'll be here before 6:30 or else..." 

"I will, Dad." 

Pagkasabi ko nun eh in-end na ni Dad ang tawag. Lumabas na ako ng C.R. at nagtungo sa parking lot. Nakita kong balisa si Kuya Rommel na nakatayo lang sa labas ng kotse. Nang makita niya ako eh biglang lumiwanag ang mukha niya.
