4. Surprised? Not really!

Nothing made sense that moment. Lex looked at Keith like he was in pain. Keith could be pregnant? How? Why? Naramdaman niya ang panginginig ng kanyang tuhod. Hindi pwedeng mangyari iyon! Keith can't be pregnant!

But then... 

He didn't pulled out. She didn't told him too. His head ached. What would he do? If Keith is really pregnant, what would he do? Natiglan siyang muli nang siya ay napatingin kay Keith. He swalloed hard. He saw fear in her eyes. He had known and hated Keith for a long time but this was the first moment that he actaully saw her ... SCARED.

"Are you scared?" out of all the questions he could ask her, he picked that. Nakita niyang napalunok si Keith. Ipinagkrus nito ang mga braso at saka tumingin sa kanya. 

"I'm not scared. Why would I be?" sarcastic na sagot nito sa kanya. He rolled his eyes. This is classic Keith. Always trying to be the brave one but he knew well. Deep inside, he knew Keith was scared. Alam niya iyon. He didn't took up Clinical Psychology for nothing, he knew very well what Keith was thinking by just looking at her every move. No matter how little it was - the swallowing, the arm crossing, those anxious looks, the poker faced expression -- it was all a defense mechanism. Takot si Keith. 

"Don't go psychotic with me, Lex!" biglang sigaw nito sa kanya. Nagulat sita sa sinabi nito. Pinamaywangan siya ni Keith at saka tinaasan ng kilay. 

"You of all people should know that I am not that." huminga siya ng malalim at saka inalis ang suot niyang aviator shades. "I'm a shrink, just like you. And I know what's in your mind." 

Keith made a face. 

"What's on my mind? Ano ka facebook?" huminga ito ng malalim. "Don't be Lex the psychologist! If I need a shrink then I should go to myself!" sigaw nito sa kanya. "I know why you're looking at me like that. I know what you're thinking. And I'm telling you! I am not scared!"

"Fine." Keith annoys him big time. Inilang hakbang niya ang kanilang pagitan at saka hinablot ang kamay nito. He caught her off guard. Hinatak niya si keith palabas ng opisina nito.

"Ano ba, Lex! Bitiwan mo nga ako!" 

Alam niyang pinagtitinginan sila ng mga empleyado sa paligid pero wala siyang pakialam. He need to get Keith out of there so that he could know if she was really pregnant or what. 

"Are you two fighting again?" tanong ni Caleb nang marating nila ang kinatatayuan ng mga ito. 

"Where the fuck are you taking me?" sigaw ni Keith sa kanya. Napadako ang tingin niya kay Demien. Kunot na kunot ang noo nito habang titig na titig sa kanilang dalawa. Gusto sana niyang hamunin ng suntukan ang lalaki. Matagal na niyang gustong gawin iyon, pero alam naman niyang wala siya sa lugar kung kaya pilit na lamang niya iyong iwinawaksi sa kanyang isipan. 

"I'm taking her?" he said arrogantly. Keith looked at him. 

"Where?" ani Demien. 

Muli niyang tinitigan si Demien. He grinned at him/ 

"None of your business." muli ay hinatak niya si Keith palabas sa carshop nito. Hindi siya mapakali. Kung natatakot si Keith, mas lalo na siya. The thought of having a baby doesn't scare him. What scares him the most was the thought of having a baby with Keith. 

"Saan mo ba kasi ako dadalhin?!" pilit nitong hinahatak ang kamay nito mula sa pagkakahawak niya. 

"Sa ospital!" pinanlakihan niya ito ng mata. Binuksan niya ang pinto ng kanyang kotse at saka tinitigan ito. "Sakay."

"Ayoko." pagmamatigas nito.

"Fuck! Keith! Can you please, just this one time, cooperate with me?!" gigil na gigil na sigaw niya rito. Keith looked at him and made a face.
