(Since I could not get my mother anything for Mother's Day, I wrote her this poem.)

In the early light of dawn,
You were the one who was always there.
Your warmth and love never withdrawn,
Your gentle touch, beyond compare.

Through sleepless nights and tear-streaked days,
You were my rock, my guiding light.
In your arms, all worries would fade away,
Your love, my shelter in the darkest night.

Thank you, dear mother, for all that you are,
For the sacrifices you made, big and small.
Your love, a shining beacon, a guiding star,
Forever grateful, I stand in awe.

On this Mother's Day, I give you this rhyme,
A token of my love, a tribute so true.
For all the ways you make life sublime,
Thank you, dear mother, for all that you do.
