S:2 E:14
Last was bad. Maddie forgot her solo and ran off stage. I got my solo pulled. We placed tenth and not only that but Candy Apples beat us.
They placed ninth, and Abby had a meltdown. Hopefully this week is better
Today we were waiting in the dancers den longer than usual. So went to look in studio A for Abby
"Where's Abby?" Kenzie asks as we step into Studio A
"Where is she?" Brooke asks
Christi then joins us in studio A
I stand in between Brooke and Kenzie
"I wonder where Abby is" I say
Then the rest of the moms come in
"She ditched us in Jersey; maybe she didn't come home" Christi says
"Who thinks Miss Abby is gonna apologize for leaving us stranded?" Kelly asks us
"Oh, god, no" Christi comments
Nia raised her hand. I hope she apologizes it would be nice
"She never apologizes" Paige says
"Maybe she's in the ladies' room" Mom says
After like 30 minutes of standing Abby finally shows up
"So, I guess it's welcome back. New York City didn't turn out exactly the way I had hoped" Abby says
"Chloe, congratulations. You were the winner. You didn't only win for yourself, you won for the Abby Lee Dance Company. You won for me, for my name and my reputation, so that was good"
"Thank you" Chloe says
"Uh, Holly, you were quite upset with me. Um, I think you assumed that I was upset because Maddie ran off the stage. And you're absolutely right. And that's why I left" Abby says
I look over to Maddie then back to Abby
"As their coach, as their teacher, they all deserve a hug" Holly says
"Nia had you! She went to you when she forgot her dance" Abby says to Holly
"Why don't you be the adult and the leader and console them first" Christi snaps
"You yelled at Paige and told her she was stupid, and when Maddie does it, oh, you forgive her and it's okay, it's not her fault" Kelly says
"But I think the case in point is we know that you don't care.." Christi starts
I see Kenzie plugging her ears and I frown
"Some kids are just special!" Abby yells
She really just said that
Am I special
"Enough. My time is very valuable. I did not call you in here to discuss this. We're talking about this week" Abby try's to change the subject
"You are going to Nexstar Competition. In L.A and those little kids in L.A are good and you all know that" Abby says
We're going to L.A!!!
