Chapter 34

"Welcome back! Mr. Tonjuarez! M-Miss Ronoua!" hindi alam ni Engr. Sy kung ano ang gagamitin niyang tono nang makita kami.

Craig quickly placed his hand on my waist when we got off the van. It made everyone silent but still with a smile on their faces. I wanted to look around but I could feel my cheeks blushing.

"W-Welcome back to Astalier!" ulit nila upang mabuhay ang paligid.

Tumango ako at ngumiti nalang sa kanila.

Craig sighed on my side. "Thank you. We'll be in the office first," aniya bago pinakita ni Yesa ang schedule niya ngayong araw.

Bumalik kami ng Astalier dahil tapos na ang project. Everything was installed and the program was already working. We went back to check everything thorough and also to thanked all the engineers and technician na naiwan dito.

This is eight months in the making. The construction and installation was pretty fast. Mabilis ang trabaho nila. Hindi naman ito minamadali ni Craig, but everyone was efficient with their work and the result quickly came out.

He slid his hands from my waist to my hands and intertwined them while we're walking.

"Aren't we gonna check things first?" bulong ko sa kanya kahit alam kong pinagtitinginan kami. Papasok na kami ng warehouse.

"We'll check later. I'll just read the final reports."

"Okay." I answered.

Nakarating na kami sa loob ng opisina niya at nandoon pa rin kahit ang desk ko. I let him do his work so I just sat on my desk kahit wala naman na akong gagawin. My work is done. It was perfectly done.

Humarap ako ng Craig. He is still browsing the papers.

"Can I go outside? I'll check the installation." paalam ko.

Mabilis na nawala ang mata niya sa ginagawa at lumipad sa akin. "We'll check it together." he stated the original plan.

I pursed my lips. "I'll come with you again. Gusto ko lang makita. Besides wala naman na akong ibang gagawin dito. At kung may problema man, maaayos ko agad. Uuwi pa tayo mamaya hindi ba?" paliwanag ko.

I raised both my brows waiting for his answer. I sighed deeply with lines showing on his forehead.

"Take care then, susunod ako mamaya." pagpayag niya.

Lumiwanag ang mukha ko at tumayo agad.

"Okay! I'll wait for you!" magiliw kong sambit bago lumabas ng pinto.

The possessive and territorial side of him is starting to disappear ever since we dated. Maybe he's keeping himself to do it.

Bumaba na ako at dumiretso sa power plant. I first check the program on the screen inside the office. It's working well and all the panels are already saving a lot of electricity.

"I heard the news." natigil ang sasabihin ko nang ibagsak nito ang mga dalang folders sa mesa at nag salita muli.

I mentally rolled my eyes. Can't he see that we're working?

I looked at his direction with confusion on my face. He grinned at me.
