Be Your Everything (Cimorelli Fan Fiction)

Chapter 13

Katherine POV

It's the 4th of March and today I turn 21 years old. We're having our typical Cimorelli party. But with 13 people living in this house, it honestly feels like a party everyday.

I sat at the dining table reading the tweets the CimFam sent me. They all greeted me a happy birthday, sent me photos they edited and also tweeted me videos they made for me. It was so sweet and I tried to thank as many of them as I could. I also saw tweets from my siblings and I planned on thanking them later. It actually seemed quiet in the house today. I guess everyone was just really busy.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHERINE!" My family exclaimed entering the dining room with gifts in their hands.

"Thank you!" I smiled

"Wanna open your presents?" Christian asked

"Sure," I answered

He passed me small gift bag. "Alex and I got you this,"

I opened it and saw a new pair of earphones. "Thanks boys! But how did you know I needed new earphones?" I asked

"Uhh... About that," Alex laughed hesitantly.

"Don't worry about it," I laughed and gave them both a hug.

"Mike and I got you this one," Nick said, passing me a small box.

I opened it and inside was a beautiful necklace with the letter 'K' on it.

"I love it! Thank you both so much!" I smiled and gave them two a hug

"Our present was kind of from everyone. Everyone contributed and put in an equal amount of effort," Lisa said

"It was fun to make so we hope you like it," Lauren smiled

Dani and Amy passed me a rolled up piece of paper tied off with a cute bow. I have a feeling the bow was Lauren's idea.

I opened up the poem and read it. It was a 12 line poem titled 'Katherine Ann Cimorelli'.

"...You may be 21 but you'll always be our daughter, big sister and little sister.

We'll forever love and take care of you.

We love you Katherine!"

After reading the last part, I put the poem down and hugged my family. The poem was really sweet and the fact that they wrote it all together means a lot to me.

"So you liked it?" Joey asked

I crouched down to his height and smiled. "Of course I liked it,"

"Well birthday girl you better get ready for your party tonight. Actually we all should get ready. Our guests should be here soon," Mum smiled

"Wait Lisa takes the longest in the bathroom, should she go first or last?" Dani joked

"BRAATT," Lisa laughed and walked off to the bathroom

"Happy birthday Kath," Lauren and Amy smiled and gave me a hug

It was 6pm and we were all ready and most of our guests had arrived. We had music playing and everyone was dancing. We took our group photo at the table when we finished having dinner. I'll probably upload those tomorrow.

After we took photos, we all went back to the living room and started playing music again. I noticed that one of my sisters weren't here. It was Lisa. Where was she?

I tried looking for her and found her sitting on the stairs. When she saw me she stood up and smiled.

"What are you doing here? Why aren't you in the living room dancing?" She asked

"I was going to ask you the same thing," I laughed. "You okay?"

She sat back down and her smile faded. "Yeah, I'm fine,"

"We've been sisters for 19 years and I know that you're not okay," I said, taking a seat next to her. "So what's wrong?"

"What time is it?" She asked

"8:30," I answered. "Why?"

"Jordan promised me that he'd be here at 6," she replied

"Oh... He's still got time though. It's only 8:30," I reassured her

"He's not coming, if he was he would've been here by now. He isn't even answering my texts," she sighed

"Why was it so important that he come anyway? You can still see him on other days," I asked

"Every time one of us has a party everyone always has so much fun. Everyone bonds with each other and spend time together. He has an older brother but he's hardly had any contact with him so I thought that if he bonded with us that he would feel like apart of our family and won't feel so lonely all the time. And I was just really hoping he would come in general," she replied

She seemed really upset and all I wanted to do was comfort my little sister.

"Don't worry Lise. He'll come better, late than never right?" I smiled

"Yeah I guess so," she said

"You're a great friend to Jordan and anyone would be lucky to have a friend like you. Don't let a little thing like that ruin your night. C'mon you're missing out on the dance party," I smiled, taking hold of her arm and pulling her with me to the living room.

We danced and sang to The Click Five, Justin Bieber and many of the other songs I had on my iPod. It was such a fun night and I could've danced till the sun came up.

At 11:45 all our tired guests went home. I thanked them for coming and they wished me once last 'Happy Birthday'.

I closed the door behind them and saw my sisters all siting on the couch.

"He didn't come," Lisa said when I turned around. "I'm going to bed,"

Lisa walked upstairs and my sisters all looked at each other.

"Jordan didn't come did he?" Amy asked us

"I didn't see him," Christina said

"Me neither," Dani said

"Lisa must be heartbroken," Lauren sighed

"Why didn't he come?" I wondered out loud

"I don't know but I think we should all just sleep on it. It's been a really long day for all of us. Happy Birthday again Katherine," Christina smiled

The rest of my sisters wished me another happy birthday then followed Christina upstairs.

Dani POV

After I got ready for bed, I fell right to sleep. I began to dream about jumping into a pool of Nutella when I suddenly woke up from a certain someone's ringtone. Lauren and I don't own a phone so I'm sure you already know who's phone it was.

I opened my eyes and turned on my side and looked at Lisa from the top bunk.

"Who could be calling you at a time like this?" I whispered

"Yeah isn't it like 2am?" I heard Lauren say from the bunk below me

Lisa picked up her phone and rejected the call. "It was Jordan and I just rejected the call. We can go to back sleep now,"

Lauren mumbled 'good night' then fell asleep again. A few minutes later the screen of Lisa's phone lit up and a message from Jordan popped up. I put on my glasses and I was able to read the message from my bed. It said: I am so sorry Lisa. I can explain -Jordan

Lisa picked up her phone and deleted the message. I didn't know what to do. Was I just supposed to pretend that my big sister was okay? I could never do that. But why would Jordan do that to her?
